Yeah, I figure if I configure mine similar to that guy (525t configuration) ...

https://coriolis.io/outfit/anaconda/02A ... =.Aw18ZlA=I'd get >50ly jump range in my Anaconda (versus my 41.17ly configuration of nearly 800t). I wish I had enough for a 2nd Anaconda, so I could "store" my engineered components in that one, and configure such for extreme exploration. But I'm only sitting on about 40Mcr currently.
My Asp costs around 40M so you have enough for one of these.
https://coriolis.io/outfit/asp/0p0tdFfl ... =VladanakiThe Anaconda may have a better jump range but it turns like a whale so in system exploring is more time consuming, specialy if you scan everything of value like me.
Actually, my 7A Thrusters (80t) with Level 3 Clean Drive Tuning turn much, much better ... even better than 8A Thrusters (160t). They "feel" a lot better than just the specs (degrees/sec) "show" too. I just don't know if I can keep them as they weight 80t.
I would probably have to go back to 5A (20t), which is the minimum, A-spec allowed. I'd like to engineer it Level 3 as well, but that means I'm now having to gather more components, again. I know I could get away with a 5D (8t), so I might, but yeah, it will turn far worse than an Asp.
I've done some calculations, and even if I'm assuming I can get another +50.3% roll (seriously doubt it) on a 5A FSD for the Asp, the Anaconda would still have anywhere from 2 to as much as 6ly over it. I'll be conservative, in the Asp's favor, and it does get close. I.e., ~550t with the Anaconda with a >2700t optimal mass with the engineered 6A FSD, v. ~350t with the Asp, with >1,675t optimal mass with an engineered 5A FSD, is within 1%.
I'm still debating. But I'm honestly at the point I think I want to get another 150Mcr so I can have a pair of Anacondas to swap components between. There's just so much I haven't done, and other engineers I care about most right now. So I'm not too concerned I haven't gone out 5,000ly ... yet.
Then again, I might want to ... before the Thargoids show up.
