I am surprised the war is not over yet. Didn't Michael say in his Dev update that max time was 7 days?
Aren't we over that?

From 3 to 28 days. In theory, combat should stop when there is a clear winner: a lead of 5% for a CW and a little more for a War.

Bringing in my ship Tikbalang , my Viper mk4, into Azrael tonight to check on our home base and do some missions. Will swing by the new CZ in Exioce , Rourke to see how things are going.

The name Tikbalang is taken from a mythological creature in my nation's local folklore. They are reputed to be swift travellers among many other fabled powers.

The Exioce High CZ has moved again.

From Fort Lawrence, it's one the nearby High Intensity's around O'Rourke Colony. Because of planetary motion, it swaps distance with the other one that is in Civil War as to which is closet to Lawrence.

I must admit that I'm making a few assumptions. IIRC conflicts originally lasted 4 days and the winner was declared on the basis of the margins between the contestants. Which is silly: who would want to continue a war if the result was clear?

The latest statement doesn't definitively resolve the issue. Conflicts are defined to last for at least three days and not longer than 28 days.

It goes on: "Conflicts cannot end before their minimum duration." That's fair enough as long as the two factions are not already far enough apart to indicate a victory.

"Conflicts that reach their maximum duration are considered to end in a ceasefire, and no assets change owners."
This covers those conflicts in systems where no player is interested enough to take part and attempt to change outcomes. The time allowed gives the single player an opportunity to take over a neglected system. The implication here is that conflicts cease when the winning criteria have been met. This doesn't seem to have happened in the past and certainly hasn't in Exioce.

Perhaps you should create a bug report with a history of the influence changes and see where that gets you.

The latest CZ now at high Intensity near O'Rourke Colony OoM at 19.7% crimson at 8.8%

There are 2 high CZ's here, only one with OoM as an option.

Made 4,9m over the last two days - the cash is good, but I'm starting to wonder how much lead we need to win.

edit: just saw Walter's edit - let's wait and see whether Michael gives an answer to this question (and hope this war won't last the full 28 days ;)

Starting to sound like the BGS is too fuggy/bucked to even decide that we 'won' :(

- and I'm becoming increasingly 'concerned' *cough* by the resounding silence from FD about the subject.
