Howdy all

Been playing this game for about 5 days now and I'm having a blast. Not so keen on the open game (though I did like seeing all the Cmdr pilots everywhere), and found the idea of this group brilliant.

Loved playing Frontier and Privateer back in the day, and I've been waiting for this game (and Star Citizen) since finishing Freelancer a fair few years back. It's been a very long dry spell for this genre and I love what I'm seeing in game. Just awesome!

still haven't started playing yet as waiting on a second joystick and getting head tracking working.

I had basically resigned myself to playing a solo game as I can't stand 13 year old gankers so this group is perfect for me, cheers!

Greetings all.

I go by Pyxis in game. Named after the constellation. I'm an explorer at heart and this game offers plenty. I played the original Elite on my Amiga 500. I loved it then and I love it even more now. Beautiful!

I decided to join this group after a couple of very costly player pirate interdictions. I decided I don't like spending that much money on insurance. I can beat the NPC interdictions easily enough.

Got the game during Christmas holidays and have been loving it. I just got myself a T-flight HOTAS X and what a night and day difference. Not used to using the X axis as roll but swapped it back to yaw for now till i play with it more.

Thought I'd put a blurb here.

I'm Axel, or sometimes people call me Patrick. I'm an astrophysics student at NYU, so this sort of game really gets me going. I've also trained a bit as a pilot.

I guess I decided to try out PvE because I like to peruse this wonderful galaxy in which we live, "distraction" free. However, I do enjoy bounty hunting.

I just want to drop by and say Hi!
New member since yesterday, 45 year old dad from Sweden. Played the original Elite on C64 and now I’m hooked again. Also have a 16 year old son which has been a bit hesitant first to play Elite but now starting to like it more and more. However I don’t know if he just wants to fight off NPC’s so maybe he won’t join me in this group.

Two questions, someone mentioned a trading tool in the forum. Where can I get that? Is there any country specific forum group or are we one big happy family?

Greetings fellow commands,

I'm a 40-year-old player from Sweden and I started my Elite career in 1984 on the ZX Spectrum 48. It was the game that set me on the path of computer gaming and I'm loving exploring Elite Dangerous little by little, trying to juggle time in space with work, girl friend etc.

So, today I read about this group, and since it's exactly what I'm looking for I decided to apply to join it.

So far I've traded up to a Lakon 6 and I've used about 3 million to kit out a Viper that I'm using to learn dogfighting. Really looking forward to wings for some proper co-op!

Right now I'm hanging out in Imperial space trying to work on my reputation.
