My one will soon be retro fitted into an explorer class vessel With the engineers FSD and lightening of most components you can get some impressive jump ranges!

Just got my first python today.. Holy shit.. Scared to fly it i dont want to get any scratches on it.

Love the engine growl.. very sexy ship!

Congrats! Honestly it's my favorite ship in game. No matter what I fee like doing, the Python can do it very well. Enjoy!

SO just an update,
I got my bad boy to my fav Engeneer. I decided i wanted to go Clean Drives. and FSD upgrades , I got my python a hair over 22LY jump range.
With reduced FSD mass!!!

One thing i dont understand is why the 7class Powerplant and Distributor but only the 5class FSD??

Yep I fly a python too. It's a great do-it -all ship. I'm almost penniless by game standards, so outfitting it is a nightmare and I daren't submit to interdiction either I HAVE to evade!

But you cannot go wrong buying the python. I suspect it will be "My" ship for the rest of my time in the game.

While I almost exclusively use my Rattaconda as an all-rounder and the Rattalooga for Ratting, the Python remains still one of my beloved old ships. Even the Wireframe paintjob looks really good on it. And the hardpoint placement ... and oooh look the shiny colours as a Wing specialist plasma bomber!
