I finally got some missions bugs. Just data delivery, but as soon as I hit accept I get a mission failed notice. That happened twice in a row. I restarted and things were fine again.

I planned to stay in the Sidey for a long time, but it was just too limiting. I flew an Adder for an evening and made about 4 times as much as 2-3 nights in the Sidey, and now picked up a T-6 and am trying to see how best to configure it for trade and mining.

I'll tell you one nice thing about starting over, it's easy to evade interdictions, and if you do get interdicted, it's someone you can handle, even with just a couple class 1 fixed lasers.

At the ruins trying to do the Mission for Ram Tah. I know it's a bit bugged. But it's still a bit frustrating when you follow the instructions on the web page and no success or fail message appears.
Still going to carry on scanning though.

Sometimes I get the feeling that the Cobra engine can't handle some of the stuff that FDev wants it to do.
I know I've hit limitations on the game engines I've used for development. But if the engine can't fully handle it then someone has to work out a work around.

I still haven't cleared my save
Been doing some basic medicine runs to Azrael, and I'm getting close to eploration elite. Trade elite was waaaay easiest, had that for a very long time. Combat is the most difficult to achieve.
Anyway.. Maybe when I get the explo elite, I'll celebrate that with a clear save

Empire grinding in HIP/Wu. Quite by chance, a sightseeing trip took me from GD 219 to *somewhere in Empire territory*, but due to a refuelling stop mishap (whereby the game lagged and my "drop landing gear" became "boost facefirst into the station"; the passenger was less than impressed) I found myself only a few jumps away from HIP/Wu with no paycheck for my trouble.

In the space of a few hours last night, I managed to make four ranks from nothing. It's great, even if people are saying it's been nerfed - it took me days of hauling literal shit for the Feds before I even hit Cadet. Depending on what happens first, I might drop my plan for a Conda and get a Clipper instead.
