So that's a no then

Yeah messing about can be fun, even when there was non-passengers money to be made in the game I still did a lot of bounty hunting that earned peanuts compared to trading. I've winged up with a friend and gone out in Sidewinders and Eagles, was amazed at how we did given how shit we used to be. Mind you that's why I haven't modded my FDL, it was already too good and using it made me go from an ok pilot to terrible, at least in the Cutter I can launch a fighter. Shame that there isn't much context for most combat, I do enjoy saving miners from getting pew pew'd now and then, not that those miserable fuckers acknowledge it, once the avatars are in game I expect it to be coded that they board my ship and proceed to lick my space boots in gratitude. Licking anything more should be down to RNG.

I'd rather spend a little more time flying and less time driving around. It's worked out pretty well for me so far.
Aye, I'm exactly the same and like you it had worked out pretty well thus far, but did any show up this time? Did it my arse, I don't remember where I started out but the Yen Nu planet I ended up getting some on had a marginally lower % according to EDDB. Also my first bit came from a Bronzite Chondrite which surprised me. The scanner seems so crap now I wish you could turn it up independently as I seem to have to rely on the sound more than the screen. It does have its own control but it seems that only allows you to turn it down, as turning the general sound effects down and leaving the scanner volume high still mutes it. God forbid you should be able to hear your own instruments.
And I was joking when I said I didn't know what they were smoking at FDev, it's crack from a broken light bulb. I wasn't lying when I said I didn't want any, but much more of their mastery of gameplay and I think I'll need it.
