As long as commanders have outstanding issues with E: D regarding the offline mode, it's a valid topic/thread.

Closing the thread because some people choose to become personal or argue that the topic/thread is boring would be misunderstanding the issue. Reprimanding those very people to stay on target or stay away from the thread would in my opinion be more relevant.

I will continue to visit this thread as long as I have an outstanding issue with E: D and FD regarding the offline mode.

Yeah, keep this thread open. If people fall out they fall out but I think on these forums it can be dealt with anyway. Sometimes things can be taken too personally and I am one who has fallen victim to my own sensitivities in the past so I'm not pointing fingers.

The offline issue has really upset people and although I'm not so pissed off with it I can see the reasons for their narked stance and think if anything this is a good place to sound off.

Maybe they're slick enough to try to create a "double-sale" by offering you to buy the game again as a single player game when the servers close?
