Gathering materials for Farseer.

Just got back with Meta Alloys... ready to go hunting for Praseodymium.

I just skip the lower levels by either leveling another way or spamming low level mods.
All lvl 4 and 5 mods I have looked at has had commodities you can just buy freely.

Where did you find Manganese and Arsenic?

How do you spam low level mods?

Just keep rolling level 1 mods, they only need 1 of a basic material like sulphur or iron, just keep rolling and discarding, you get the rep increase even when you discard.

Ran out of materials before getting access to Level 4. Selling my Cart Data helped but still only got to 47% on Level 3.

I'm looking for missions giving Modular Terminals and scanning more wakes now.

I got to Level 5 at Farseer... here are the results on the Corvette... not as good as I thought they would be but not bad I guess...

Mod Terms are a pain in the bottom. try HR 494 / Thule / Luyten 205-128. Took me three days to get the 25 required for Qwent

You got a 47% increase in jump range. It doesn't get much better than that (50% is max) unless you got a secondary effect. Nice roll!

This is a great resource for finding materials. Just plug in the mat you need and your current system and search. I recommend checking a few planets for their percentage of the mat you need before heading out though, so that you can increase your odds of finding it quickly.

Oh look a nebula over there...not too far only 800ly and it is sort of on the way...
Lots of stars and quite pretty, might get a bit nearer maybe 800ly, and it isn't too far off course back....

Sometimes having OCD tendencies sometimes makes it difficult to be an explorer.

I am now about 7500 LY from Jaques, and hoping to get there and sell my data before 2.2 drops for reals. I started to make some good progress, but then ran into a few patches of stars that contained dozens of Neutron Stars, all previously undiscovered. It took me a couple of days (and a few dozen systems) to finally make myself jump a few hundred LY to get away from it (although I did tag a system there in EDD in case I go back that way).

Naturally, not too far after that I find a patch with a whole bunch of Black Holes, all previously undiscovered. I could not bear to leave them like that. So much for getting anywhere tonight.

Trying out the SRV to scavenge materials. Also working on modifying multi-cannons on the Vette.
