Anyone else having issues with framerate in VR?

I am having huge issues with framerates in VR at the moment. As soon as there is any other asset (buildings, ships, stations etc but not planets) my frame rate tanks and I get jitter seasickness. I have tried dropping to VR low, hell I even tried dropping EVERYTHING to low or off and it STILL judders

Like i say it is only when there is something other than the starfield or a planet (PG or non PG doesn't matter which is really odd as I would have thought that the PG planets would be the worst). What is annoying is that I have been playing using VR High previously with no issues

Thinking I may re-install windows as something may be sucking up juice in the background.

Spec wise I am running an i5 2550K (clocked at 4.2GHz with a cooler the size of a small child attached to it - it is stable and never overheats), 12GB DDR 3 1600MHz RAM and a GTX1080. What is annoying is that the game used to play fine but now I can't VR any more as it just makes me feel sick

Check to see if there are any pending Windows updates.

Are you playing in beta? It may be slow servers, and they upped the default graphics settings.

If you are in the live game, I'll let you know, as I'm about to do some comparison testing.

Are you using the lastest video drivers? If so, maybe switch to some older ones? The 1080 rocks (I have one as well) so you shouldn't have any frame rate issues.

Well, I spent a couple hours in the regular game and things seemed normal. But in beta, even a VR low, there is a lot of stutter. The worst is coming out of hyper, but oddly no stutter in hyper. I haven't tried the performance HUD to check actual FPS.
