Too lazy to type this all out again.. might as well copy/paste from the bug forums.

So with Beta 3, my CMDR save load fail issue is fixed.

Unfortunately, I have this issue now.. I was able to get in once, and then it crashed as soon as I did anything, with the "client outdated etc" being shown..

1 step forward, 1 step back. This beta has some kinks to work through. Glad we're all finding them now instead of at launch, like many, many, many other games.

I will.......

I intended to solder and wire up some temp buttons tonight....

But got back from Leicester later than anticipated.......

Sooo will do that tomorrow night and poss be in game on Friday night......(If it's playable by then)

So you actually found ya wallet and crowbarred it open for Beta did ya.........

I was just able to "play" today with Beta 3. But I'm getting 20 FPS or so. But if I do anything, like checking menus or use the game at all, I get the disconnection bug, then "client is too old"...

Hey, it's a beta, I get that.. but the previous betas were so stable it ruined beta testing for me.

The SRV training is still not working for me via steam, unless I launch directly from EDLaunch.exe in the folder.

I want to play so badly.. Drill/Installed my HOTAS again when I was able to login at all.. But alas, twas not to be. :cry:

Since everybody else seems to playing with the Beluga and the new fighters, some notes on other areas:
- Disappearing exclusion zone markers around stars look to have been fixed.
- The UA shell around Merope still exists, but the spawn rates look to have been nerfed again. If you do not have access to Palin yet, collect your 25 unknown fragments now.
- The alien wreck is also still around, and has an extremely passive Imperial interdictor above it.
- The planetary coordinate system was changed, you need to swap latitude and longitude values if you want to land at a specific spot. Unfortunately, FDev seems to have rotated their coordinate system, so any bearing calculator tools based on the rhumb line method are broken.
- Ceos/Sothis has been nerfed as well, if you need extra cash, make your money now.
- In addition to limiting routes to certain kind of stars or system levels, routes are now stored on the servers, and can be recalled after logging in again.
- Teleporting ships into planetary bases still works.

Jeebus effing christ.. this beta is awesome.

I finally *fixed* my low frame rates. Set my rate to uncapped from 144. Set my game to fullscreen from borderless, and set my res down to 1920x1440, then back to 2560x1440, and all in all, it fixed it. I was in no time blazing through the verse at 165 FPS.

Has anyone noticed the amazing new jump animation shows the color of the star now in the new animation? You're actually flying towards your destination through whatever the dark space looks like in the simulation. This little stuff is why I love this game so much.

Game finally crashed once I got back to Jameson and tried to buy a Beluga Liner. At least I am docked now.
Uploading a video about scooping a white dwarf. Will post it later. Short, but interesting. Those damn gravitational waves are harsh..

So, has anyone noticed that it tells you when a system near you is going boom? Nice little pop-in there for me. Also, v886 near Shinrarta is the location of the white dwarf I used, and that's 1 jump from Jameson/Founders.

Quality isn't as good as it should be, since I just installed new drivers for my GPU, and forgot to reset GFE recording settings from FHD to UHD.

At least I get to play 5-20 minutes between crashes.

I haven't been able to see a POI yet. I can see the blue circles, but can't spot anything from the air or with the SRV wave scanner.

Audio flying around a planet surface is terrible. Volume going up and down, tracks cutting in and out with pops.
