Great. I was on a planet and got stuck on my side next to my ship so couldn't use thrusters. So I dismiss my ship, right myself, and recall my ship, which proceeds to nosedive into the planet, lose shields and 63% of my hull, and then it lands upside down just for some extra fun.


So I log out, then recall the ship again, and it does it one more time, thankfully w/o any more damage, but this time landed right side up, but w/o landing gear.


I'll try again - wish me luck.

There’s another way out: quit Elite and relaunch it but don’t launch Horizons, launch the previous version from the launcher (i.e. ELITE DANGEROUS (64-BIT) instead of ELITE DANGEROUS HORIZONS (64-BIT)). That should put you back into orbit. Then just relaunch Horizons.

Open a ticket with FDev support, attach the picture with the upside-down ship, and ask them to repair you. One of the commanders on J2J had a similar issue, opened a ticket, continued on, and some hours later, his Anaconda magically went from ~30% to 100% hull.

Damn. I knew that, but forgot about it. Anyhoo, just blew up the SRV at no cost and things are fine again. I did tack on my report to an existing bug thread.
