Trying out some quick trade routes.
I've also got half of what I've spent the past few days back already, so bonus.
Getting closer to the 'Vette.
Also just baited another NPC. His 'Conda's shields lasted for about 10 seconds, and then another 6 seconds once they were down. Must've had some core modules hit since he still had regular "health" while he was blowing up.

I was doing the grind to unlock Palin. Then bam, 7% power distributor unlock, with really no side-effects. That little bit unlocked access to Palin, and gave me a bunch of power capacity I really needed. Guess now I need to figure out what Unknown Fragments are, where to get them, and how to get 25 of them.

The idea is to go about 135-150 LY away from the Pleiades Nebula and that's where they are. There seems to be better luck closer to the bubble. Some have reported going into a single system and just scanning all the planets and by the time the reach the end they've encountered enough UA's. I don't remember that system though. It took me about 2 hours to get mine. I was at Hyades Sector CW-V B2-1 and would just jump to nearby systems if I didn't find anything within 5-10 minutes. Anomaly Detected Threat 4 is what they become from USS. When you do find the UA's my luck has been getting 2 fragments (actually 6 because of the material multiply upon pickup) from full speed ahead. The couple I let die "naturally" from light tapping and scoop and drop only yielded one fragment.

I took my Vette to Farseer recently and got a pretty decent FSD range upgrade of 38% after 4 rolls.

Today I ran up to Farseer with my mission runner Python to roll the dice on an FSD upgrade for it.

First (and only!) roll results .....



Yup.... 47% jump range increase! Sweet! Now I have 4 rolls left to try my luck with other ships in fleet.

I'm jealous JL. I ran out of Arsenic before I got a roll that good, so I ended up taking whatever my last one was.


I got a nice little bonus from the Ambika CG. I don't know whether everyone is at Jaques or on summer holiday, but I managed to stay in the top 10% of this one. I also made an extra 1.3M CR for being in the top 75% of the food transport CG, just for bringing 64t of stuff with me when I showed up at the station.

I took my time with the UA fragments as I get bored just sitting in a system and waiting for them to spawn. I jumped around from system to system always making sure I was 135ly to 150ly from Maia. Some systems spawn UAs regularly.

I had not much time the last days. But due to some mission I had some quite useful materials for the engineers. I raised my rank at Tod 'the blaster' from 3 to 5 with 150 kCr of bounties and 5 level 4 upgrades and I did something similar at the Dweller. My Python got now lightweight mounts for all weapons. Combined with a tuned FSD she now jumpes 33 LYs (empty). I'm still in need for modular terminals. Sigh. Maybe I should continue doing Ceos runs to a get an Anaconda. Grinding money is funnier than grinding repuation or stuff for reputation.

God, I miss Elite! I am ''stuck'' in a Greek island for two weeks, waking up late in the morning, splashing in the sea with the kids during the day and having ouzo and beer almost every night.

Internet coverage is minimal, wifi is a hit and miss case and I am pretty happy when I can read what's going on in the galaxy through your posts.

Not complaining. I think That Elite will feel almost like a new game when I get back.

I am also stuck in Crete and although I have a joystick and a fairly ok internet connection I refuse to play and stay till late at the beach and grab a beer or two in the evening

Perhaps when we go to Karpathos next week....

Which island? Perhaps an Elite cmdrs meeting over alcohol is in order....

Me and Flip added 'Regeneration Sequence' to one of the huge beams on the corvettes, my shields which are nearly 5000mu usually take up to half hour to recharge can now be recharged in seconds and practically makes us invulnarable in any RES.

Until they realize and nerf it, of course.
