Running around gathering engineers stuff (yes, I finally got sucked into it)
Carrying 4 tons of goodies, so I'm getting frequent Elite interdictions, but this one was a bit ridiculous.....
Elite (of course) FGS. Took down my Python's 556mj shields in 11 seconds. Yikes!! Time to GTFO.....

Quick touch & go in the bubble to dump about 15 million in exploration data in Azrael, do a test drive with a 5A fuel scoop in the cutter (Really Bad Idea), and pick up yet another load of power generators for the "Repair Jaques" CG.

I'd dump that at an engineer if you are going to use them....

I used the 45 million from my first Jaques / Sag A* / Great Annihilator trip to max out both Farseer and Martuuk already, and have not unlocked Palin yet.

Palin comes after Qwent, who you'll get once mid level 3 with Maruuk.
Qwent needs the 25 modular terminals and Palin will need 25 unknown fragments.

I have the info about Qwent, but I first need to do the Sirius cooperation grind for the Sirius system permit, and then the modular terminal grind, before I can visit him. My motivation to do these grinds is very close to zero. I'd rather haul some more power generators to Jaques for the first Jaques CG, and then settle down for some nice quiet mining for the second Jaques CG...

The mod terminals were pretty annoying at first but more plentiful in the system I was at I once I had higher rep with the factions. Took a few hours but I was making decent money along the way, for what I was doing. For Palin you will then need the fragments. I can give you my key area later on. But I found the best thing to do was to marvel at the artifacts for a bit, then throw it in reverse. Once you're an okay distance away, gun it, straight at the artifact. Each time, for me at least, it gave me 2 fragments, when I obliterated it with my nose. Which is actually 6 since they're considered materials and triple upon pickup. The couple times I let them die slowly, scoop and drop, and batting it around, I only got 1 fragment each time. I don't know about shooting it because my python has no guns, but that may yield just the one also.

PS. I'm sure you're on PC, but if by slim chance you're on XB1, I have some mod termials leftover.

I'm 4 jumps away from Jacques station. I am on Xbox us and I hope to see some commanders when I arrive. Looking forward to mining after I drop off these power generators!

I am not far off from Cardea right now. Any help would be appreciated. I am pretty new to this all yet

Hey there SorcererX. Besides Exoice that Victoria recommended (which I completely agree with), you could also try Dvorsi and Gende. All are close to Cardea and have low and high RES, and some Haz-RES if you're up to a stronger challenge.

I'd be happy to wing up with you in a RES on Sunday, if our times are coincide.

Winging is best if we use voice comms, but if you don't have a mic we'll get by just fine.

I was doing some exploring so it would take me a bit too get back in the area but that's ok. Sunday would be fine. I have a mic, I just need to find it. I'll probably buy a headset anyway though, since my mic is literally, a mic. I'm on EST time. Sunday will be an early night though, I start work 4am on Monday.
