After visiting LBN 623 and then the Iris Nebula, I'm now making my way to NGC 7822

I'm finally getting close enough to the Crab Nebula that it's actually visible to the eye. I only have about 30 jumps to go.



I may start to head back toward the bubble after I reach the Pulsar. I had originally intended to fly out to the edge of the galaxy, and maybe even to the Heart & Soul nebulae. However, rumblings about aliens & mysterious disappearances, combined with the fact that I've been flying without an AFMU for over a month now (700+ jumps), are starting to get me a bit paranoid.

Humm..... doubtful.

I am very surprised that on my little weekend exploration trip (only about 4k ly out) I am finding all kinds of undiscovered systems. So far about 8 new water worlds, one earth like, and lots of metal rich. Nothing earth shattering but considering that I'm just exploring in the back yard, I'm amazed at how many tags I'll get when I get home.
