That's, er, 3,248 hours.

I'm not sure, as during my first week, Steam reported 600 hours. But there has not been a 24 hour period since I got the game that I have not played.

Steam doesn't count hours played but wether you have the launcher running, since that is the process steam starts.

Elite does however list time played in the bottom section of your game stats and those numbers are in game and regardless of save resets.

That number includes your former commander as well, it's a bit odd I guess.

I guess personally I am at 9w 3d.

(Took a glance last week and I was at 9w2d and some change, and I'm not in game atm.
