Remember, the API usually stays down for a while after a major update.

My best guess is that it will come when their servers are updated.
And they said that would take 10+ hours.

If it takes 10 hours for them to apply the patch when they have it there already, how long's it going to take us to download? :D

So we're no longer baking cakes with a "recipe", but making copies of architectural drawings 20 years ago? Seriously, I haven't heard anybody use the word blueprint in at least that long. Does "blueprints" sound high-tech or something? All that the engineers are doing is specifying material requirements that you need to source. Why not just say "Required Materials" and list the quantities of each?

Sorry, I just felt like bitching as I'm stuck at work. :D
It's time to give this another go.

Ahhh but I presume you need BOTH......

Materials AND Blueprints........

That's why you now have a data store in Inventory.......

Blueprints are obtained from normal ship scans......

Material from the ship you kold kilt when the aforementioned scan says "Wanted"

Good point. I didn't think about testing that at all for the SSC during beta :(
But by default they are adding Verbose=1. And logs will get XYZ coordinates for each system in the log as we jump in.
Most tools will break unless they can ignore the changes.
All the more reason devs have to ensure they write very flexible, but tolerant, regular expressions.

Actually based on my experience in IT and SW development 10+ hrs isn't too bad, depending on the size and complexity of the patch or update. Had one stretch over 48hrs (total time) just recently. And that was supposed to have been a simple, straight forward patch.
Yes, I'm just as impatient as everyone else to get back into the game. Just have to be comfortable with the fact that, that isn't going to happen until tomorrow night.

Try working for a major OS and infrastructure vendor. ;)
