So we're no longer baking cakes with a "recipe", but making copies of architectural drawings 20 years ago? Seriously, I haven't heard anybody use the word blueprint in at least that long. Does "blueprints" sound high-tech or something? All that the engineers are doing is specifying material requirements that you need to source. Why not just say "Required Materials" and list the quantities of each?

Actually based on my experience in IT and SW development 10+ hrs isn't too bad, depending on the size and complexity of the patch or update. Had one stretch over 48hrs (total time) just recently. And that was supposed to have been a simple, straight forward patch.
Yes, I'm just as impatient as everyone else to get back into the game. Just have to be comfortable with the fact that, that isn't going to happen until tomorrow night.
