Was in a conflict zone and THIS dropped in. Wish I'd had the presence of mind to capture it as it dropped out of super-cruise! I heard the computer report something about "Warning - Capital Ship Approaching!", and BAM! there it was. I just stared in awe as it slowly entered the space.

Er... apparently the picture is too large.

You'll have to take my word for it I guess until I can figure out how to reduce the size!

capital signature detected or such. Yes, in Combat Zones, high intensity ones those appear, feds have their own.

If they are on enemy side, the way to shoo them off is to either destroy all heat relays, there is a main generator for guns too

Like in the first week of playing I landed in a Cz and TWO! Of these come in.
One fed and one empirial.

I saw a Capital ship for the first time today while running a mission to hunt a few guys. It slowly thundered into view through a big cloud of...something... supercruise? I just sat there staring at it while the battle raged around me. Luckily it was on my side or else I probably would have just turned tail and bolted.

They do have a rather annoying habit of stealing all the kills though.

But what I didn't know is that if you get too close to them they open fire, regardless of who you are or think you are. Soooo, I was taking a new hires cap without the HUD and suddenly all hell breaks loose. Escaped with 6% hull remaining. Live and learn.
