Pretty soon you'll change your main 'roll' in the game to Assassin.

Apparently I'm blowing up a CMDR in an SRV accidentally. Doing a base assault and let a barrage of dumb fires go at the power supply. I didn't catch the name well (it was all dollar signs and other symbols) when it came up that I was fined for assault, which I've not seen before. All of my apologies to the CMDR.

Still 41.5K LY out. In my 29 minute Asp, that's about 20 hours, but things will slow down plotting routes in the core, plus a bit more for a handful of detailed scans. Still a good chance I might make it home by next weekend :) , but I still need to do my tax returns by next Friday.

That's a lot of 'stills'.
It's time to give this another go.

You might be right, im starting to like killing those diplomats

Actually i would have lost intrest in this game long time ago if i haven't found this private group.

I tried going open, but it seemed like every time someone saw elite ranked commander in a FAS they logged or waked out before i even managed to say hello. It's actually pretty sad to see how bad things are in there when folks automaticly assume other players are there to blow them away. In Mobius people know that other people are friendly and usually stay to chat and it sure is much easier to make friends here.

Your comment just says it all from my point of view. That automatic reaction speaks loud and clear, those who pretend that they can't hear it are just hypocrites.

Hello,
Currently doing bounty hunting in Compromised Nav Beacons at Aerial and Haz Res at Ling Deti.
Trying to hit Elite in Combat, 17% more to go.
Also am debating getting Track IR or ED Tracker. A CMDR I met recently IRL told me he just got an ED tracker and not really interested in Track IR for ED game play. Since he's also an AH-64 pilot, I tend to give his views some serious weight.

Have fun, fly safe. o7

Picked up a FAS last night in LHS 20 on discount. Ran it back to base (165LY) and even with a scoop had to side stop to find some scoopable stars as its tank range is 4 jumps. (15.35ly range meant that with a side trip to cash in some Alliance stuff, I was mapping 16 jumps back. Ended being 19 with side stops to fuel.)

Since it has Mill Armour, I decide to wing up with Kharma in a Compromised Nav beacon for its inaugural fight. We were soon Joined by Tor and Mikey D.

The only other ship I had ever really hunted in was my Vulture. I sold the Vulture a while back to concentrate on other things, but I know that I needed something to hunt with. Was the FAS a decent replacement?

HELL YEAH!

The good: Has lost of power, moves very well, and can boost to almost 400. Cockpit has good view. No problems with Wep when 3.5 pips to WEP. Was worried about the Top/Bottom Large Hardpoints, but it works well.

The Bad:
Not liking Multis on it because of ammo limitations, but will live with it till I put some more pulses or burst. Never had the shields drop, but did pop 2 shield cells. Did take some damage from heat even though I popped Heat Sinks, but didn't have much. The bottom Medium HP are something I will have to get used to, but with its turning ability, I had no problem getting them on target.

Verdict:
Good Energy, Big Fan, Will Fly again.

check back a couple of pages in this thread, there is a mini-discussion regarding both TrackIR and EDTracker, I'm ordering an EDTracker in a couple of days when I get paid, didn't feel the need for the full 6DOF jsut for ETS2 and ED.
