Took a break from the non-stop fighing this weekend by doing the Uibuth CG (free the slaves!). Yup, the same CG @Schmobius was complaining was wrecking the Imperial slave trade

Ran to Marrallang to buy some slaves then freed them at D'Arrest station at Uibuth ( take the mission before selling the slaves - this frees them into the dedicated colony). The progress bar was nearly full - the lowest reward was already at 800K. The CG was supposed to last 3 days more but it's not going to last that long.

Back to the war tonight.

Sounds like loads of fun, but will my Federal Assault Ship get squashed by all that heavy metal flying around?

Oh, for the record, I fly pretty reckless and my shots often go where they aren't supposed to. Witness the fact that I have changed my home system about a dozen times in the last month or so due to killing random clean pilots and cops at rez sites. So if I happen to hit someone, its not intentional and please, please don't fire back because in the intensity of a fight I sometimes just lock onto something and I don't realize its a friendly until its too late. Although with the hollow boxes vs the solid ones it should be allot easier to tell friend from foe

Hello,
In a CZ its pretty easy to target an enemy instead of a friend. Once you choose a side, press your "Select Highest Threat" or "Next Hostile target" button. Do not press the "Select Next Target" or "Select Target" (which selects the target in-front of you) button.
For me the "Select Highest Threat" button is a pain. You would think that the Highest Threat is the one shooting at you. But nooo... For some reason it keeps selecting the missile or torpedo floating around and not even chasing after you. Or it selects a target that is close to you but has not engaged in combat with you, just because it's a bigger ship or a high rated ship.

I've noticed recently,that if you accidentally hit friendly targets which you've not targeted, in a CZ, they ignore you or don't turn red on you. The time I've had friendly targets turn red on me was when I accidentally targeted the friendly and started shooting at it (had to do with target lock off/on when chaffing maneuver.)

I need to make back some rebuy money, and unless I quit my job, it would take me months to make it back in the CZ. (Spoiler alert, not quitting my job, since playing Elite doesn't pay my rent.)

Did some ranking in Tun until I got bored and had flashbacks of my stint at Cubeo. I then went to Robigo and did the smuggling. I quite like these and apologies to those I saw en-route but I was busy avoiding feds etc. Made a cool 60M in an afternoon until I got sloppy exiting a station and got scanned. My fault, I was a bit tardy and complacent. Usually I am full speed by the slot and boost out of station and then boost, boost, boost. This time i was more pedestrian. I was 50% through my misions so I took that as a hint to pack up and play my drums.

Im wondering if there's some sort of bug or why that CZ dissapeared. I was in the middle of the battle there and my internet connection failed. After i managed to get back in there was no CZ to be found. Looks like Order got 15% influence now, could that have something to do with it?

Spent most of the weekend delivering more Garrison Supllies to boost my Hudson rating - will hit 5 next cycle. Back to RES hunting for the next couple of days, but will wait till next PP cycle before handing in any bounties - so flying ultra safe and taking no risks lol.

Which means I will prob end up boosting into an asteroid at full speed

It's not over yet. The difference between us & Crimsom Electronics is just 5.5 % (OOM 15% : ECE 9.5%).

+9.5% more to go. The first war lasted 18 days according to Judson - max duration for any war is 28 days.

The Lakon Keelback is one of the least regarded ships in ED, the only thing worse would probably be the Cobra Mk4

Despite all the negative feedback, I decided to sell my T6 and get one. I have a feeling about this ship, will put through the wringer once I've upgraded it. Will be taking it to the Exioce CZ.

THEN we"ll find out if it's really a combat freighter or not

That's very possible, the CZ shifted in the first Exioce war. It's hardly been a week since the second war started, too soon for this to end. Better we check if the original CZ really has disappeared or if it's still there.
