I would love to be in a wing of 3-4 large (Vette / Cutter) ships and work that Cap ship to the bone!

My Vette is available for wing ups. But it is relatively easy to kick the cap ship out. Perhaps if we take it's teeth out (weapons) and then start working on the powerplant etc just for the fun of it :)

I just came from the Exioce and a very strange thing happened. I heard a computer voice giving a garbled warning - then a few seconds later the enemy capship imploded. The two other commanders I was with seemed to be nowhere near it but I saw a lot of beams from allied NPC ships burning the imperial capship. Also, most of the Crimsom electronic ships died to allied fire - normally I"m the one finishing them off.

Going back to find out what the heck is happening, looks good for us but what the ????

Most likely it was a warning about massive frame shift signature detected and the cap ship jumped out

Yes, that must be it. I think the various commanders are thinning the Crimsom ships enough so that our NPC allies get a decent crack at the capship. Made another sortie into the CZ and it came to the point that there were 4-5 OOM NPC ships strafing the Imperial mothership. When I returned to Fort Lawrence I spotted two Commanders in the area, it definitely wasn't me that took that many hostile ships down.

One last sortie and that's it for the night.

As others have said, the capital ship itself isn't too hard to deal with. I really only run into trouble when I have a Python and an Asp shooting at me from behind. (They take forever to kill with pulse lasers now that they use military hulls...)

I can pretty much win 1 on 1 against anything, but I don't do very well when I get swarmed. A wing would be nice. :D

Greetings Commanders, we have overtaken Crimson Electronics- 12% to their 11.4%. The required victory margin in a war is 15 percentage points separation. The first Exioce war lasted 6-7 days and we made the mistake of slowing down when our lead widened.

We missed the victory margin by 0.5% and that loss hurt. Let's make the most of this weekend from what time we're willing to spare to achieve our goal. The more the merrier - the BGS seems to take into account the number of participating Commanders.

Many, many thanks to those who have gotten us this far. Mobius players are often underestimated by those who don't know us well , but we can be as determined as any Open player if we think the cause is well worth it. I know this one is and I hope that most of you if not all , share the same sentiment. Thank you :)

My hold is full, my missiles are low. The port is holding me hostage for another 7 hours so I can't land till the bounty period is up. I don't want to jump out of system with a hold full of precious stuff (not to mention questionable legalities on some of the canisters), so I am doomed for the next seven hours to breaking rocks looking for enough stuff to synthesize 6 reloads on my missile launchers.

The joys of being a planet raider.

I could have used someone in a tanked-out imperial eagle last night. :-)
