When your friend goes off in his space cow, you can join some of us in Mobius, you know. I was bounty hunting with John Luke and FCB a bit this weekend, even though I'm a bit of a noob at that. (Definitely like the python better than the gunship for it....) It was a lot of fun! I may see if any screenshots I grabbed are worthwhile and post them later.

I should do that but I don't use the TS. It would be point and shoot with me.

I'd be happy to with with you anytime. TS is not a deal breaker, either. Do you use voice comms or not? If it's just TS that you don't like, the in-game voice comms are acceptable. Or, you could possibly listen in on TS if you don't have a mic. Or just text chat ..... just throwing options out there.

I've been in a few wings were 2-3 members were on voice comms and one wasn't. It still works out fine. :)

Sorry to read about your friendly fire bounty. That's one of the reasons that I don't hunt in the system where I store my ships. :(

I never use TS. Mainly because I am a piss taking so and so. I cant help it. Sorry. I developed these from working 'on site' with builders etc. I was the youngest and hence the victim, I therefore learnt a thick skin and a mighty tolerance. I've been the butt of many a prank. TBH I think everything is funny.

Now if someone falls over, i instinctively piss myself laughing and rib them. Thus my wife, if she heard some of the comms would take the opportunity to rib me mercilessly. I rib everyone, full time. Thus its better for everyone if I refrain from direct verbal contact as I can appear insensitive. With people in real life you can easily figure out who is okay with whatever. Online is much more difficult. I don't want to upset people on purpose and would be horrified if I did accidentally. That said, if they fall over I'd still snigger. Albeit surreptitiously.

Plus Im herbally 'chilled' some evenings and play ED whilst listening to R6.

So no TS for me. Its for your own good. :)

I succumbed to the trading bug and converted my Viper3 into a T6. Turns out that Apathaam which has the worst placement for a single orbital station in Greater Azrael also has the best outfitting. With more than 11 ships in the shipyard & a lot of modules, I wouldn't mind if the Order expanded to this system since it's just 6.8Ly from Azrael - sorry Apathaam if I said so many bad things about you before :|

Carried nearly 40 tons of tea to Shugasubus & after several jumps am now in Rata Bares. For a merchanter the T6 is pretty nimble & quick - if it had just one more small hardpoint I"d go bounty hunting small ships :D Got to get back to Azrael, didn't intend to go this far.

"Freya" in her maiden flight. These Imperial ships sure are beautiful and fun to fly. Boost sounds more of a whale song than engine, but it's actually kind of nice

I have no idea what im going to do with this ship, i was originally thinking of making her a smuggling/mission ship but it needs a large landing pad so there goes that idea.

...and of course when I took on a 90k shadow delivery mission telling myself "the T6 will probably go splat on the base station" - the damn ship did it :) When the scan started just outside the entry slot of the base station, I boosted the ship like a bat out of hell right after the autodock aligned it. Making money just picking up delivery missions then loading the rest of the remaining 80 ton cargo capacity with the same goods.

Very sweet ship, no wonder so many players are fanatic about it. Does upgrading to a Keelback even make sense ? Is all that weaponry worth the loss in speed & reduction in cargo capacity? Maybe when the onboard fighter ship arrives then I"ll think about it. Time to buy a new skin (again).

charlie2alpha wrote:Been busy the last few days but I managed to finish my Cubeo grind and get my Imperial Cutter. Did some crime sweep for ALD with JL, some RES hunting, bit of mining on my Python and of course some trading with Latinum, my Cutter (name taken from Star Trek). I upgraded it's power plant and thrusters both to 7A but it still drives like a barge, docking computer not to be trusted except for the very last stage inside the station.

Welcome to the Cutter Club!

Agreed on no auto dock till through the slot. I actually ditched the docking computer after a few days... it's a little challenging to land manually, but it can be done. I wanted the extra cargo, and to still have room for a buggy.

Feel free to join even without TS, but it's much easier to coordinate with it, and fun to BS a bit while killing things. Once you get it set up, it is pretty unobtrusive in the background, and the sound quality is quite good. Just get your wingman targeting set up so you can shoot at our targets, at least.

Auto docking is for girls, pansies...oh dammit...PC prohibits the legitimate piss taking. Ok. Auto docking is for people with a fascination with soft furnishings. There. I think I got away with it.

Saunter back to PC......Open can......*Slurp*.....Continue....

Besides got used to using one when the landing pads used to disappear at outposts.....
