What happens if you look at it cross-eyed? :P
It's time to give this another go.

An elite marshmallow man flying an Anaconda rips you out of SC and busts your ship.

I am honestly starting to think something is hinky with my device.

This is honestly the best calibration I have ever gotten and it's not very accurate at all.

The other points are just way off.

TorTorden - you may want to contact Tobii. I'm not having any calibration issues, and actually realized last night using the Gaze Trace feature that I was getting full screen functionality - all 34 inches of wide screen - when I'm at the furthest calibration.

I did mount the device at the very bottom edge of my monitor, and thanks to the foam tape shim it's got a perfect angle (exactly the angle it's designed for). Could it be that your installation is a little too tight and that's giving you a bad angle?

Right now, the only thing I'm working through is getting used to having my POV shift whenever I look anywhere. In combat it's awesome, and incredibly transparent. I finally took your suggestion and set up an on/off toggle in VoiceAttack so I could disable the feature when using the Station Services menu. (And if anyone knows of a way to automatically lock the durn menu down with head tracking or eye look... I'd love to hear it!) I'm really only delaying writing up a full report until I see if using the device becomes so natural I stop noticing it at all.

Edited to add a thought - TT, when I first installed the hardware it did a firmware upgrade. Similarly, the software needed upgrades the next day. At the risk of being insulting... I presume you already checked the firmware and software versions?

Yeah I will compile stuff in the morning and contact them cause this is ridiculous.
And it seems to be getting worse.
But at first the gaze tracer would be just flying around the screen about 10cm radius.

If it could help I'm definitely not against getting a USB 3 expansion card (I need more USB ports now anyways).

I am honestly getting quite used to this in game now.
I have swapped out my corvette for an imperial courier and boy does that ship fly great location.
Sure I could do with more dps but I don't really care kills/hr now.

Ordered one of these yesterday.
Hope it doesn't take their stated FOUR WEEKS! to arrive.
Seriously £20 for postage! And they don't provide tracking or a set delivery date is rather bad customer service.

Tracking comes from ups and you will get the details for that when they ship.
Which in my case was the day after I ordered it.

I almost ordered on the spot but needed a USB card due to my motherboard, I ordered that card but not the Tobii, very glad I waited,
sounds like a lot of limitations.
I have to wear glasses I can't due contacts at all (got blown up in the service and my eyes burned).
