I had two game crashes over the weekend, and so did two different wingmen. For us it seems to only happen when we're in a wing, and someone goes into SC. The person who's game crashes may be the pilot who went into SC, or it may be one of the other wingmen. None of us have game crashes when not in a wing. Weird.

Are you seeing crashes in specific situations too, or are yours more random?

Well after that spate when I was by myself and one of them in Solo....I winged up and there were crashes galore for all of us....

Mainly when we came across a POI......And once again numerous instancing issues.....Also always landed in mid air when someone jumped back in...

anyone know of a system local to us that has base assault missions a plenty? seen a couple of vids that show stackable missions...

Cubeo mate. Ive been doing them. You need to go to the penal colony on one of the planets and all the missions are aimed at metcalf base also on the same planet.

All the surface missions (except for the occasional delivery, of course) are aimed at Metcalf Keep, from all 3 other outposts, not just the penal colony. I have been loading up on missions, cycling between open, Mobius, and Solo, at all 3 of them. I end up spending more time racking up missions than actually blowing stuff up, but it's proving to be about half as effective as donation spam used to be. (As opposed to everything else being far less effective.)

Dropped from supercruise and was perfectly aligned for the slot. First time for everything

Thought about visiting Obsidian Orbital, but the CG itself is not worth it IMO. Also I don't like the idea that the first contact happens (happened?) with guns blazing. I thought we will be given a chance to choose, even if in that case I would have still been 98% sure the first contact will happen violently. Human nature I guess. Everything we do not understand will be shot at.
Better just get back to the Python and do some cargo missions, maybe I'll get that Anaconda before summer.

Also, noticed that Asimov Settlement (outpost, arrival point 92,295.69 LS) in LTT 14094 seems to offer some donation missions for Alliance. Not huge amounts but was ok for me to get back to 100%.

Hello,
Did trade runs all day. Made about 20+mil. Took my time, tried checking out various trade routes. Even went over to Fehu with Lady Krystin to check out the missions there, which really (and I emphasise, really) suck. Total lack of missions.
Oh well, back to the trade loop grind. Will be grinding around Cubeo tonight. Getting merits as well as trade ranking.

Not to mention that bringing unknown alien material into your most critical installations is a very bad idea. Some Commanders on the FD boards are already talking of outfitting their best exploration ships and heading for the hills once the rumble starts. I suspect that there will be permanent changes in the EDverse once it's all over.

Some razed planets, a split in the Imperium , new alien tech and who knows what else?
