Hello Mobius!

I had a typed out intro thread that needs approval. Anyway, glad to be part of the group! I know my way around trading and exploration, but am combat-weak.

I'm excited to finally see some other players out there since I never play 'open'. Hope to see some of you out there in the darkness

cmdr Daynen here. Happy to be aboard, and eager to see what else FD adds to enrich the game experience. I'm hoping being part of a bigger group will make things more interesting, since solo mode feels pretty desolate. I've actually been flying in the group ingame for several days now and haven't encountered a single player yet (so far as I know--unless some of these bounties are REALLY sluggish fliers...in which case, um...sorry?)

Since I started the game about two weeks ago, I've been sampling the various kinds of gameplay and roles, and building myself a nice multirole vessel in a mkIII cobra, and it's been a joy to fly. I scan systems as I enter them, hit bounties that cross my path, collect some salvage now and then, and then go turn it all in to do a mission or two for the federation. Sadly, I don't have Horizons, so no cobra IV or SRV's for me, but I look forward to new layers of gameplay in future releases.

Currently hunting pirates in the Worora system for a juicy 380K payout. After that, who knows?

Hi All

I play as CMDR Mehdic.

I live in the UK and for 13 years had a career as a planetary scientist, but am now full time caring for my son.
I've played Elite Dangerous since Beta, and remember buying Frontier: Elite II the day it came out and being amazed that the whole galaxy seemed to fit on two floppy disks!

I've played mostly as solo until now but have just started the distant worlds expedition this week. I missed the deadline to be an official part of the fleet, so i'm on my own. Am about 200 ly from Waypoint 2. Have started to get scared of being in Open Play because of the danger of being shot by an opportunist griefer, but it would be depressing to be in solo following the expedition!

I've been playing PC flying Simulations for a few years and just recently got involved with elite dangerous after the launch of Horizons.
My Christmas was comprised of getting my super-computer up and flying with a FSD.
Nerd specs: i7 4.0GHs can boost to 4.5, 32GB DDR4, 3GB AMD HD7900, 500GB PCI-e hard drive, Windows 10 64bit.
With a useful trading app I possess, I look forward to meeting new potential wingman or woman, to share in trade profits in the galaxy.
With a sentence like that you'd think I'm a federalist, and you would be right The federation is like UPS, they charge you more to get it there and are more determined to succeed. Just ask Tom Hanks, determined to delivering that last package.

I don't really have an interest in PVP, at least not without more game mechanics to create a world of consequence.
So PVE is the way to be. I usually play in a private group with a friend, and wouldn't mind getting into a larger community so just applied to Mobius group in-game

Hi Guys,

I'm CMDR Creeprr and have been playing the game for roughly 3 weeks now. Since my experience in open was rather bad, like being shot in station by some bored CMDR, I chose PvE as the solution. So here I am.

I chose Mobius mainly for its size so I can still interact with other players.
