You have not lived, Commander Xorog, until you've completed the Hutton Run. Twice.

(Yes, that is a real life, genuine, Hutton Mug. And it's mine.)

Now, that's one thing I haven't done, going to Hutton Orbital. Was discussing it with a friend, but he currently lacks a ship suitable for it. I can take my ASP and go but it's 90mins of boredom, I need a wingman to buy me beer when we arrive :)

BTW, cool mug, where did you get that ?

I went there multiple times. Journey takes quite a while. Did this when doing missions for the federation to rank up. Cool mug, btw!
I should really add this to my todo list - fly with the hutton orbital truckers ;) Good Idea! Saw the livestream "educating ed", seemed to be a lot of fun indeed.

I like that, my todo list is growing. Perhaps I should create one and upload it ..

I won it by being among the first to participate in the Hutton Mug CG mission. Yes, for playing Elite: Dangerous, some people in the UK shipped a coffee mug to me in America. It was the people behind Hutton Orbital Radio who sent it, and I was actually wondering for a moment after they told me I won, that they might say "Sorry, but we can't do international shipping." Nope. They were not deterred.

I was so disgusted with the hutton run community event. I did around 8+ runs to Hutton with scrap in the misguided hope that we would get a mug on the dashboard of our ships.

Under that single reason alone, I refused to buy any of those stupid bobbleheads until my dashboard is adorned with a Hutton Mug !

That would be cool, but I don't ever remember them promising we'd get an in-game mug as a decoration. I don't remember anyone even suggesting it.

nope. no one did. I was pretty new to the community goals at that point and just decided in my own mind when I saw the mug reward that we'd get a mug for the dashboard. I found out half way through what the rewards actually meant, but still continued to push runs out... cuz in my mind, I wanted a feckin MUG for my dash! :-)

It would, though the current bobble placements would be odd for it. And I suppose it would have to be a travel mug of some kind to keep coffee or whatever from splashing all over the place, and I can at least say the real ones aren't; just standard coffee mugs.
