Ey up,
Anulbeerd here. Galway is my cousin and suggested I sign up. In the introduction thread it says to mention why I've chosen PVE over PVP - To be honest, I haven't. I understand the rules of the group and I'm happy with co-operative play for now. Ultimately I think PVP is something I'll incorporate into how I play as I usually enjoy it. From the little I've read so far though it sounds like elite pvp has a way to go in open play before it will scratch that particular itch for a lot of us.
The last MMO-type game I played with any regularity was Darkfall Online with The Fremen Knights. I did play DF:UW for a short while but it just wasn't the same. After that I moved from the UK to Australia for a few years and the only gaming I've done since then has been DOTA2 and a brief stint of DayZ epoch.
So : the name. I started playing Warhammer Online as a Goblin Squig Herder, years ago. Anulbeerd seemed goblin-y enough and since I'm juvenile it amused me. It was a drastic improvment from Pubic Soup. I'm an adult who laughs at farts. Sue me :p
Currently all I'm doing in game is learning. I've not really even found a completely satisfactory set of keybinds yet. I'm loving the game though and even though it's slow and steady progress learning about it - I can see me playing this for a fair while.
