OoM at ***WAR*** in Exioce!

Now the OoM has been moved under Independent, it is no longer the first channel under the lobby so I'm hoping this will help with that.

I also want to implement some of Cmdr TorTorden's ideas on the TS Overload thread. I was just waiting for any more input.

I have taken to creating an A-Team room whenever I log in to TS now. Simple enough and keeps our antics out of the other places, and I can restrict the Temp Channel if need be.

I love how so many Cmdr's have arrived to help out with the war. Work has meant getting to play during the day with Cmdr Judson and a few others. Has been great to meet everybody out there. Looking forward to winning this one and moving on to the next one.

I noticed no impact with shadowplay on my 980 and I recorded for over 30 minutes 8.8gb or something lol

Just a couple of notes for last nights session.

On two occasions I was against a Cutter. Took down his power plant and while the PP was at 1-3% started a ramming run at me.
I avoided and while turning to finish the kill some other commander dropped in and finished the cutter off stealing the kill.

Ok once ti can happen, twice is a coincidence but the third time while I was finishing off a Clipper the CMDR went directly in front of me in my line of fire (I stopped firing of course) ramming the Clipper and stealing the kill.

Don''t get me wrong I am not complaining, it is not about the money or the kill as I am already Elite in combat but it is definitely not cool.
It would be better if the commander asked me to wing up and share the profits.

Going back out there now... Long live the Order

if it was a fer-de-lance, that might have been me im afraid. earlier had got ram killed twice by cutters so was somewhat out for blood. was testing a cannon and jumped on the first cutters i could find. as for the clipper that was highest hostile and was attacking me as well, so i wouldnt count that as a kill steal. ive only done combat in solo up to now, mostly in navs and res, and only master, so just not all that experienced in it. i did see the message in local chat and assumed it was me, but be the time id checked for other cmdrs in the area and sent a wing invite, i think youd already gone.

A quick question about "kills".

Is it the last shot that gets the kill? or do you share the kill with whoever attacks..?

I've jumped in a few times to help some one but have always backed off when the NPC was down to the last couple of percent.
Does this still give them the kill?

I believe it is the Commander that does the most damage

Cmdr Judson - I'm really sorry I couldn't fly with you. It's so much more fun, when done with others. These days the game mostly shows me empty CZs when other Cmdrs are in there. I miss the old Beta days

Not sure but I think it goes to the cmdr that has done some damage but is closer to the target

This war has brought meaning to ED for me. Just been out there. Loads of Commanders fighting for the Order. Feel pumped up. Only thing was DexterWolf messaged me (I saw it later as I was excited in the midst of battle) that I was showing up red on the scanner. I chose Mobius as my faction and just claimed my bonds but I noticed a lot of red hollows on my scanner at one point as well. I don't want to PvP in CZ's either but I assumed they were Commanders who chose the other side. Now it looks like it could be a bug. What do you guys think?
