OoM at ***WAR*** in Exioce!

As you appear to have experience with this kind of thing can you tell me, if I used ShadowPlay (GTX 970 Strix) would it make a hit on game play? I mean would I experience lag with my controls. I guess it must be resource intensive in some way. I'd like to record my sessions and keep the good ones for prosterity (maybe upload the ones I think would be entertaining to other people). I have a fairly good background with audio and have Sonar X3 Producer on my PC (which includes video editing that I've never used) but I'm pretty new to PC gaming so I'm not sure Whether using Live (if you know what I mean) video capture whilst playing will slow down game play. My PC is pretty good.

I ask this because I did a quite impressive (luck more than judgement) FA off then on close quarter manoeuvre on a ship earlier on and wished I captured it.

I mention Shadow Play because I've obviously got it on GeForce Experience.

Needless to say, I couldn't find the Mobius faction in ANY CZ. Had to settle for doing several cargo missions for the Order between Exioce & Azrael. Even confused the Guth outpost for the HQ at one point till I realized otherwise. Rafferty's Mobius is a very nice looking station btw.

I guess this is the space gods way of telling me "Quit screwing around Tifu, get your Viper mk4 to Exioce pronto!". Parking my beloved Sidewinder back in Adam's Orbital and will outfit a rental Sidie to get my other ship.

I use shadow play on 970 and it's running at 1920x1080, I notice no lag, no slowdown, nothing I'm recording to a mechanical drive and the games installed on an ssd - I can't fault it, the alt+f10 last 5 minutes is brill for those wow wish I'd recorded that - 5 mins at 1920x1080 is about 1.5gb for reference

I have created a wing waiting room on TS under the repositioned OoM channels. So anyone who wants wing mates for this war can park there until joined by likeminded cmdr's. When they have enough they can move to a wing channel.

On a related note, I for one am getting tired of seeing commanders use the OoM room for random chat that has nothing to do with the order. There are plenty of other rooms on out TS server for that!

Winged up with cmdr charile2alpha and cmdr georgios before a big lunch... Greek Wing
It was fun and made 1.5M before 3 Clippers decided to attack me as I was busy dealing with a Cutter.

Yeah it was fun and I hope we can repeat it, it was my first time in the CZ with my Fer-de-Lance! Unfortunately I'm stuck at work until late evening and then usually we watch some show with the wife and go to bed. btw my wife also studies greek

Now the OoM has been moved under Independent, it is no longer the first channel under the lobby so I'm hoping this will help with that.

I also want to implement some of Cmdr TorTorden's ideas on the TS Overload thread. I was just waiting for any more input.
