Logitech G Series Companion App.

Since i picked up a G13 I was looking for a way to get it to display info from Elite and my applet search led me to this post on Elite Dangerous Codex.

Its a companion app for your keyboard that has a few features. Depending on which keyboard you own, you can get the following features:

• Status: System information when you arrive in system. Includes Allegiance, Power Play status, Population, Economy and Government.
• Space Traffic Control: Make it sound like you are hearing radio calls from stations and ships (configured to only happen in SC with Volume and density of traffic).
• Galnet Ticker: Galnet News on a Ticker Tape
• Reddit Elite Dangerous Ticker: Latest posts from the Elite Dangerous Reddit.
• Radio Controller: Preconfigured for a few ED specific stations, but customizable.
• Play Spotify Premium: If Spotify is your Jam, you can use this to control it. Includes a few Space Based playlists.
• Elite TV: A few Elite Dangerous based Youtube Channels.

It works on the G13/15/19 keyboards, but I had an issue with the program and had to go back to an older version first before I was able to use it. If you have a G13 I will post instructions here to fix the issue if it happens to you.

Also, if you DON'T have a G series Keyboard, you can still use this app. it will give you a little window with most of the features to enhance the game for you.

When I initially installed the App, the standard arrow controls of the G13 display would not work. I asked the author about it, and he saw no reason why it wouldn't work. I had downloaded the latest Logitech drivers and the latest App. I played around a bit and went back to his Reddit post.

At the top he had a link to the latest version of the app. But there was a link to the older version. When I installed the older version first, it then updated itself and everything started working.

Once run, it will have to update, but all should be good.

I've used the app for a few weeks now. The developer is very responsive to requests and/or issues. I asked for local time to be added as an option and it was there in the next version. One of the best apps for these Logitech g series keyboards.

Yeah, he was helping me with the issue I had. I even asked him about a few changes as well.

It's one of the few apps I have found that is truly useful. If you know of any other apps that will run on the Monochrome G13, let me know.
