Blue circles are POI's......

That means there is something interesting there......Not rocks.....Could be wreckage.....Data point.....Canisters....Mining facility....Etc

Land anywhere and you will find rocks to blow up......

And dismissing the ship is safe.......It gets it off your scanner so you don't get false readings.....

POI's are interesting.........Just waiting/wanting to find an alien one......

Did they attack you, Victoria? Or were they truly in distress?

The capital ship was stranded and partly on fire. They didn’t even broadcast SOS’es on the local channel like NPC’s in distress usually do.

Question about dismissing the ship though: Do I need to worry about it being attacked somewhere in orbit, or is it only vulnerable on the ground?

I'm not absolutely certain on this point, I do believe you are safe (I've always been fine), but I am aware that should someone fire on it whilst you are recalling it, you will be alerted to it in your SRV..

Oh.. when you're in your ship 3.5km (ish) up, POI hunting.. don't forget to set your scanner to max range... and don't expect the POI to be in the centre of the circle, it usually isn't..

Of course it's not in the center. Why would we expect scanners to be more accurate over a thousand years in the future.

Over the past few months I have managed to acquire a Python and upgrade it to A Class, I intended to use it in RES and conflict zones but for some reason I find myself still trading in it. I have now decided I am going to trade until I can afford an Anaconda and fully kit it out (which will be a while, though I do currently have an OK trading route that earns around 4 mil an hour)

Python isn't bad for combat, but I find myself getting chewed up in conflict zones without backup. I like the decent cargo capacity, and ability to land at outposts though.

Decided to sell my Asp and Cobra to get some extra credits for modules. Hopefully, I'll be earning enough on trading with the thing to easily buy them back later. (And also a Fed Corvette)

Only one pirate interdiction tonight, but I made him regret it hard. I'll probably still be flying the Python a lot while trying to rank up in the Federation, since it can land at outposts, but maybe some of you will get to see the Starship Nope Rope out there.

Woo hoo new PC & graphics card..I can see the world of Elite again. (even the galaxy map loads quicker)

Just getting to grips with 140fps instead of 20. Any tips on SRV key binds every time I use one it replaces the main binding from the ship. Which seems silyl as I can't use both at the same time.
