Was weapons testing last night. Trying 2 C3G Beams and 2 C2G pulses on Lady Jayne. Was in a CZ when I ran across this Elite Asp Explorer that started firing it's rails as if they were cannons.
Each time double shots and at least 3 salvos. Saw another NPC courier firing what I can only assume were rails cause of the blue streaks as if it was firing multi-cannons at another NPC ship. Beginning to wonder if NPC ships need power and heat management.

They do have heat and power management according the SJA who programmed the AI. What it could be is an NPC with a Power Play specific Rail Gun. Wasn't there one that was a triple shot ? Could that be it?

Having fun at Borr playing with the loadout of my new Corvette (Did I mention I just bought one? )

Don't like Plasma Accelerators and Cannons so I stick to Beams and Pulses. And no SCBs. Instead of Military Alloys I got Hull Reinforcement packages which according to Coriliolis are better and lighter.. Any comments on this?

Was fighting in a CZ in Dvorsi, the system next to Azrael. So I don't think so.

Also, just lost my Cutter to a ramming Conda in a CZ. Decided to weapons test my cutter in a CZ. Equipped with 4 C2G Bursts, 2 C3T Bursts and 1 C4G Cannon. Took forever to get the Conda's shield down. Think he had triggered an SCB cause the shield regenerated quite fast. I get his shield down just as he gets mine down. Him 96% hull, me 94% hull. Comes straight at me and Kaboom... Eject! Eject!

Is it just me or did Condas become even more maneuverable? Saw one NPC conda, making turns and moves like a Cobra. Probably just me. I think NPCs do the pip dance better than I do.
