There are lots of fuel rats going but nice to know another Möbius commander is looking out for us

Since release I've found materials easy to find for the 25% FSD boost, so no worries there, I'm already stocked up on everything that might be useful. My ship is ready and stored at Möbius, waiting for the day we need to head for the meet up point.

I've practiced landing at specific coordinates, as waypoints might include the landing coordinates and no problem with this but a bit more practice to reduce overall time wouldn't go amiss...

I've joined their TS server and got a key, joined their private group and added 1/3 as friends (add the rest later). Looked at some of the other things they are planning but for me the TS server will be my initial source of info

I think that's about it?... Looking forward to it.

version of my trusty Elizabeth since, well I have her, I might as well go with a setup that isn't dependent on boost juice.

I too am bringing a fuel transfer controller and eight limpets, no more.
An idea for people who worry about getting fuel, is to bring just a couple of limpets along themselves thus spreading the load around a bit.
We really should be allowed to synthesise limpets though, would ease the process a lot.

EDIT: There is no system by that name, there is a shinrarta dezhra, but it requires a founders permit.

ANNOUNCEMENT :

The preliminary launch date for the Distant Worlds Expedition is penciled in for Thursday 14th January;

at 20:00 In-Game-Time for European timezones.
at 02:00 In-Game-Time for USA, Canada, S. American timezones.
all other timezones will need to choose one of the above that best suits them (sorry guys!).

The fleet(s) will amass at the Pallaeni Base Camp (Base Camp Zero) at the times stated. Planet and base camp coordinates will be posted closer to the date.

Again this is subject to change if unforeseen circumstances crop up, but for now that's the day you should mark in your diaries.

Feeling trepidation already..

The longest I have gotten out there was 4500ly before I got crazy and needed to kill something.

You can always land and pop some drones, if the urge persists.
Mildly worried we will miss something big FD releases or some nice community goals while we are out there. Missed a few on my 4 week round trip to Sag.

Only 24 weeks they say!

All that is left for me is finalize my Connie build and run some test landings and fill up on synth mats. Could do with finding a couple more Polonium.

Suffice to say, i am going prepared for anything!
