Yea that was my hobby.....

I was told I was rather good at it....

Always interested me since I was young....But it was secret knowledge back then and the tools were not available like now....

So a few years ago after discovering what was available...I decided to give it a go....I'm a very quick learner...Although my fingers were actually bleeding from the practise I put in...But ended up being able to pick some VERY high security locks.....Even got to a point when an American company sent me there new pick set to try out..Nearly $200 worth.....

Claim to fame was pissing off a manufacturer who launched a new unpickable lock with a magnetic pin....I asked him for a sample to back it up.....He sent one...I studied it.....Picked it in under a minute.....He copped the hump and had all my videos of that lock removed from you tube....

But that's another life now....Still have all the gear worth hundreds if not a grand or more......Plus about 20 boxes of practise locks from all around the world.....100's and 100's of em.....

hehe.. I was thinking of getting the christmas Tree bobblehead.. but then I went and looked at images of bobbleheads in cockpits and realized for me they break the immersion..

Honestly, I really wouldn't focus on the ships, yes you'll get a nice new shiny but the game doesn't fundamentally change when you do, the missions are the same, the pirates are the same (yes they may die quicker, but to what end), everything is the same just with more expensive repair costs. It's a bit like the Cutter, yes you can get 700+ tons of cargo space and make a shed load of credits, but for what?

My advice is stick to what you enjoy doing, don't worry about ships or ranks or what ever, you'll get more out of the game.

Just my thoughts of course.

Thanks for your input Xebeth. I like to have a goal to focus on, maybe I need to change my goal... I suppose I could have been going about this the wrong way. We'll just see what happens when I get to log in today.

Someone was complaining that there are no Fed missions. I got up to Post Captain very easily in Borr. Every time I visited Armstrong something there were 3-4 missions to go to the next level.

Perhaps it is due to the fact that a couple of months ago I was on the nearby HiRES killing pirates for a week or so (without missions to do so)
