Yes, I'd like to know how to get "kill pirates" missions. Does one have to destabilise certain factions, or be in a particular system/station.

I don't believe there is any particular formula, it may be that you need to raise your rep with the factions in the system you are in

- but the pickings are leaner than last time I was here, often a full deck (Open, Solo, Mobius, Lion) only nets 3 or 4 missions.

Been playing with the compromised nav beacon at Aerial, added 5% to my combat rank and picked up about 8m into the bargain, now back to Azrael for an Order mission or two.

I've been running in a high tech system with a nearby haz res for some time. When I first arrived, three weeks ago, there were lots of KP missions. Now they have completely dried up, as in not one for days. I'm allied with the station faction with a high rep and friendly status with all but the pirate faction, so I'd say it's worse now.

Short of becoming a pirate myself and targeting the station faction and others until they start bitching about pirates, I'm not sure what to do. Doing this would break my role immersion anway, so it's unlikely I'll do it. If I had another character slot, I might. Too bad.

I may just move on and start again elsewhere.

Hmm, interesting, we've been having the same issue in Azrael, I'd say there was a general mission issue, but I've seen lots of kill missions for factions I don't want to support, it's almost like, the higher your rep gets the worse the PK missions get.

I have only been to the station. The "Asylum" sounded like a bad place

I hope they fixed the Slow Jumps problem because I want to do at least to Fehu runs today.

Thanks for the info, and you posted about 10 minutes before I logged in so the timing was perfect!

I'm docked at the station, and have 8 good missions from my first cycle on the BB. Now I'm off to do a 10 minute chore around the house and check again. I'll post later about the long jump issue that we saw yesterday.

Also wondering why do I remember the names Lave and Leesti from the time I played Elite with Amiga. On the galaxy map they seem like every other system out there, nothing special. Maybe I need to visit those two systems too at some point.
