Running OoM missions again, but I think I will take a really long break from pirate kill missions after these are done. It is really annoying to get interdicted and scanned by the police every 2 minutes. Apparently they won't bother to tell each other that this dude has just been scanned, or they have no comms at all.
I play on PC, in the Mobius PVE Eurasia group.

At least you got Pirate missions. Mine was always Kill Cops, Civillians, traders. That or fly 30 ly and SC 15,000ls to drop this off, we will pay you 1200 credits. Not! :)

As much as I want to help, I cannot sustain life at that rate. I had to move on, but when in the area, I hit up Raffs and Miller and take what I can. Then I head to Fehu and pick up 20-30 million in missions in about 15 minutes. If OoM want to borrow some cash, let me know, I can spare a couple million per station. hit me up when I am there.

Running logistics, security and mining operations in Sothis. The outpost delivery runs have been surprisingly profitable in a properly-fitted T6.

Running Missions from Robigo, working towards picking up a Fer-De-Lance, since I hear it is getting a power plant upgrade in the next update (wooooo!!!) and that was the whole reason I didn't keep my old one.

I just finished a casual mining run my Miner Python. On week days I usually only have 30-40 minutes of E-D game time after work. Mining is a nice relaxing diversion from my day, and it's easy to do in 30 minute increments. I just leave my ship a bit above the ring when I log out, and can jump right into the rubble the next day. ;)

I find mining more entertaining than trading, although it doesn't pay as well (at least for me). But, game time isn't always about the money, ya' know? I got tired of the monotony of A-B-A trade runs several months ago and have been looking for a new way to have some 'chill time' in E-D when I'm not in the mood for killing wanted ships or don't have time to run BB missions for OoM.

It's kinda cool buzzing between the 'roids, dropping prospector limpets in hope of a good score. Sometimes you find one like this.... and you get a little bit excited! When was the last time that you have a moment of excitement (good excitement, not interdiction excitement) during a local trade run?

I finished the session (about 2.5 hours of mining time, over several days... as RL would allow). Yes, apparently I'm a slow miner, as I've heard that most guys get a full load in about a hour. But remember that this is my chill activity in E-D, and I'm also VERY picky about what rocks I allow into my cargo bins. As you can see (below) I came away with all P rocks, except for a few tons of Osmium for BB missions. The cargo racks were completely full **AND** I had 5 tons of Platinum in the refinery, just waiting for cargo space!

I docked at a high-tech large population station where I am allied with the Empire factions and working on becoming friendly with the independent factions. This morning when I fired up E-D, I cycled the BB a few times to get some mining missions. I perused our message board for 5-7 minutes, and cycled the BB again filling more mining missions. Rinsed and repeated until I was caught up on our message board and FB. (About 4 sets of BB cycles). I got a few mining missions on each cycle, which really helps the bottom line. $$$

All said and done, the profits from the relaxing leisurely mining run was $7,136,000. Yeah, not huge profits, but for relaxing causal game play without the boredom of an A-B-A trade route, I'll take it! :D

Now... it's time to kill things for a few days since I'm off work for the long holiday weekend! :D

So today I sold my quite new cargo Python and my explorer spec'ed Asp, to free up some funds and purchased a new cargo spec Anaconda.

Interesting docking sequence, think I gripped the chair all the way out of the station! Now to make the money back.

I have been seriously toying with the idea of refitting the Elias for exploration and taking a vacation from the bubble...I'm just so afraid I'll get bored.

Maybe better to just start with a smaller ship to save myself the hassle... that 39ly jump range is tempting, though...
