What's this Fehu hauling missions?
I'm currently running both the CGs at Kaushpoos. I would really like to see the station fully fitted out.
Also, what's the max cargo cap for the cutter? (Nvm, found specs on wiki)
Thanks. Have fun, fly safe.
Fehu is a Empire system about 350-400ly from Azrael. It is on the fringe of Empire space and un-colonized space. It has very lucrative missions hauling and sometimes smuggling. You need allied with Empire to get any use of it, and a decent rank in trade (broker or higher). Missions as a Broker were 650K + on each hauling mission, with some well over 1 million. Since there are more than just Empire Factions here, you grab charity donation mission to quickly get allied status then you get more missions from all factions.
This is similar to the runs from Sothis and Robigo (sp?) that were all the rage a month ago.
You accept the missions, then switch to another game mode, and accept more. (Group, take missions, swith to open, accept missions, solo accept missions). Then wait for the BB to reset (about 5-7 minutes) and fill up again. (I also made a private group for myself, so I cycled through 4 modes each time.)
It is easy with an Asp or other ship that can do 80-100 tonnes to get 20+ million of legal haulage missions in about a half hour. Then its a 300-400ly trek back into the heart of the Empire to deliver them. They tend to be all clustered in a 40-50ly bubble in the area around Sak Manka. At least they are for me. Some deliveries will be in systems where you have to run 40-60K ls from the main star so you have to make sure that you check the times. Some are double or triple deliveries in a system or station. Even a Cobra doing 40 tonnes can make a good amount of coin.
Also, since you are loaded with lots of Valuable mission cargo, you will find that you are getting interdicted A LOT more, and lots of those annoying "Follow me so we can talk" NPC's. Do not try this unshielded, or in a ship that can't defend itself. You WILL get shot at quite a bit.
Be carefull on the missions with short time limits. They will screw you over. And you need a good fuel scoop so you can refuel as quickly as possible and be able to avoid the bad guys. There are a few T type star areas that mean unless you have a high jump range, you may need to make course adjustments.
Loaded my asp does 27ly max jump. Takes me 12-14 jumps back to the area to deliver. I jump, scoop, run. When interdicted, submit and run. Don't fight the interdiction, cause if you loose, you get damage and your FSD takes longer to cool down, which means you get shot more.
If you have 2-3 hours that you can do this uninterrupted, its a good way to get cash. I'm lazy and it takes me 3-4 hours to do the run there and deliveries. And its kinda fun and exciting than regular trading as you are getting a lot more action from NPC's and are always on alert for who is on your six
