TIA for the details!

Nope. Standard Hauling missions. I did take one Smuggling mission that popped up for 4 mill credits. The rest were just delivery missions. They were all in the 700k-1.1m range. Did the Solo/Group/Open trick, wait 5-7 minutes, rinse repeat. My ranks: Broker/Competent/Surveyor. Asp was rigged for 85 tonnes. And they were all about 300 ly from Fehu, but clustered in an area around Sak Manka. So once back in that area, longest just was about 45 ly. I basically made a loop from one drop off to the next.

One nice tip, once you have your missions, select one to start with, and once you are at your first drop off, the mission display on the left panel sorts the missions by distance. Closest to your current position at the top. Never realized that, but that is how it worked for me. Would be nice if we could chose to sort by Distance, or Time remaining, but at least it is sorting by something besides Alphabetical :)

Sweet! :D I'll have to tweak my undermining ASP (used to be my smuggling ASP) and run over there when I'm done with the mining CG at HIP 8396.

Thanks for the info, and also.... the tip about the sorting of missions. I didn't know that it did that! ;)

You're welcome, and neither did I till I started to look at it last night.

In normal game I'm in Fehu now, all normal runs this time, no smuggling.
These runs help also with getting your naval rank up so that's why Fehu now, that's in Empire region.

Yesterday in 1.5 beta I responded to a distress call, shot everybody except the poor trader who send the call of course, no scratch on my Corvette, then I read more specs that compared the Corvette, Cutter and Anaconda and I figured the Cutter was even better but on trying to get it outside the station I destroyed it in the mailbox :( It will be the Corvette for me I think, in the future when I have enough credits and ranks...

I read somewhere that when you get stuck in the mail slot in the Cutter, deploy the landing gear. Yes it sounds counter productive, but I guess it works.

Its indeed the case. Going into stations is fine. Business as usual. Exiting the station you do have to have the landing gear down until you are through the slot then all is fine :)

Logged in and found a naval rank mission waiting and a promotion to Trailblazer.

Off to Fehu for coin.

Confirmed bug and workaround.
Leave the landing gear down for safe exit, and for docking, even with a DC.
Lower gear then engage DC on entry

Well just sold the piece of shit Viper MKIV........

Back in the Corvette and Errrrrrr....Sorta damaged the paintwork a little bit on the way out.....lol

Graphics seem a bit off as destination target is not obscured by the front of the ship......It is still visible......

Route planner fooked up as well and sorta lost it......

Jump range on the Corvette is shite......18LY = 3 jumps......

Mine is heavily fortified though.......4 x shield boosters......Military armour and 2 x hull re-enforcement.....

I have 2 huge gimballed cannons....But sthg is not quite right about them.....They don't seem to be tracking very well....Even though they are top mounts.......Might try fixed and see if any difference ......
Image

Tor.....Hold on.......Tor.......Wait a bit.....TOR will you stop fecking firing.......Ok......Tor I know a therapist that can help you....... :D My Cmdr also has small feet

Just saw this. Sitting on the pad and a Cutter was stuck. I said to put the gear down and it worked. He said he's already lost one so was thankful for the tip. Then on the way back in I saw another Cutter trying to enter the station with his nose low and too high in the slot. I was just going to tell him when he blew up. I think a DC may be in order for these big ships.

Anyone know if you still need gear down with a DC?

Anyway, I'm just trying every ship I haven't flown just for shits and giggles. ;)
It's time to give this another go.
