That's just the direction your ship is pointing in vs the direction it's travelling. If you've managed to haul it round so it's pointing at your destination but going in a different direction, just hit boost to get it moving in that direction.

just did a quick lightning bounty hunt at Sothis for another 11 million, getting one more in before the servers go offline - just in case 1.4 ruins the lucrative little racket i have going there.
