Welcome.
Been hovering around the forums not posting.
Am currently at Sagit A. In solo mode right now, and will journey back. This trip has taken me 8 weeks so far, and when I return will join in the community goals, however I suspect it will be a few months before I return.
In game name Markus_Wolf

Hi everyone, my name is Chris, call sign CMDR Ginger Bloke. I've been playing a fair bit in solo, but intending to try playing in the private group from now on, as I feel I'm missing out on a huge element of the game without player interaction, so PvE with likeminded players is ideal for me. I don't have a huge issue with PvP, as it is strictly in the spirit of the game to be a pirate, but really don't appreciate the idea of getting murdered by some bored pilot who doesn't have a job and kids to restrict their playing time! I only get a few hours a week on the game so I really want to enjoy it. Doesn't mean I'll be complaining too much if I get taken apart, so long as it's in within the RPG style of the game.

Currently been hanging around the empire flying a Cobra Mk 3, that's been the childhood dream since playing the original around a friends house then the joy/disappointments that were FE2 and FFE. Been using the elite companion at Inara.cz, this has helped create a fantastic sense of immersion, which I think getting out of solo play will only improve.

Look forward to seeing you all out there!

Hi folks, another newbie...

Been playing since release and, damn, its good...

Started in Open but when I lost 4 ships in a day due to griefers at Lave I went Solo and have been enjoying PvE since. Currently on a Sag A exploration (with shiny stuff detours) and hoping to get Exploration Elite when (if) I eventually return.

At the risk of sounding too 'gamey', fly safe :)

Evening all :D
CMDR RAZORBAK here from Scotland.
I enjoy all aspects of the game , but I am now wanting to play PVE , as it is rather annoying when completing various missions in open play only to be setup on by a gang of young ruffians with nothing better to do than noise up an old codger like me.
My chemically addled mind can barely cope with life at the best of times , but I fear this is becoming more of a hazard with more people joining all the time (Elite).
For example , last Saturday night I was puttering through the Sol system (with a bottle of sweat heart stout) trying to remember if I had fed the dog , and wondering where I might find a decent friendship drive , when I was interdicted by a trio of said hooligans who attacked me for the simple reason " I was in their way ". After gallantly fending them off for several seconds I was presented with the ' Your Ship was destroyed (weak as tap water and fell apart around you !!!). Losing my Asp , cargo , dignity and spilling some stout , not forgetting cash and maybe a couple of bounty vouchers :) and shouting at the dog for not helping.
So pls feel free to add me and I hope to see you out there :)
The dog is speaking to me again ;)

Hi everyone my name is Clayton. I'm from Alaska and looking to get back into Elite and play with other people. Me and several of my friends started about 6 months ago but they all went off to play something else and they were never serious about the game anyways. Some of them quit playing because it wasn't Star Citizen so they didn't like it, for some it wasn't Counter Strike so they didn't like it either. I've always played PvE either solo or private group and have no desire to play PvP. It's frustrating when 5 AI ships gang up on you in a CZ but 10x more frustrating when it's one person with nothing else to do.
