I like the fact that they currently blow up when you kill the power plant, but honestly, being adrift is more realistic. Maybe there's still a chance they blow up, just not guaranteed... I mean we do scoop plasma from stars for fuel.

finished up at Dakshmandi, both cmdrs submitted exactly 25,000,000 in bonds each, which meant trying to stay alive in the CZ while waiting for specific enemies to spawn. yes it's a bit anal/OCD but it made the game more interesting

How long, did you spend in the CZ?

I can never do CZs for more than an hour at a time. The most I've ever made in a 1 hour session is about 1.4mil cr. But to make 25mil? Wow.

i probably have about 20 hours in total between both commanders. and yeah i rarely like to spend any more than around an hour at a time in the zone, so i'll usually do one of two things:

1.) park my ship about 15km out from the zone and quit and do something else for a while. when i'm ready to play some more all i have to do is select the zone in the Nav screen, select the faction, deploy weapons and boost straight back in

2.) return to the station, cash in my bonds, and build up a mission stack - e.g. check the BB for 'kill Emperor's Dawn ships in the CZ' and accept any i find. quit to the menu. log into Open, Solo and check their BBs too, take any of those missions available (checking how much time they allow) - quit back to the menu, go do something else. in 10 - 20 mins return and check all 3 BBs again. repeat until you have either amassed enough total cash value, or time is getting close etc. then go back into the zone and clean up. i'd usually put on a DVD and build my stack over the 90 mins the movie ran for, then play again

obviously the mission stack earnings *are in addition to* whatever cash you earn from bonds. overall cmdr clivewil made 60 mil from this little venture, and cmdr clivus made around 45 mil. stacking the missions *definitely* pays off overall.

I think I will go to Eravate tonight for the Eagle runs. Though Powerplay could get in the way, since Eravate is Hudson territory ... bit stupid that.

Emperor's Dawn CG almost immediately threw me out of Group, and killed my keyboard save arrows and Return when I logged back in ...
