I am excited about the setting up of the Mobius player faction I was wondering though what, if any, advantages (and disadvantages?) it gives in game. Is it just that my scanner results on other peoples scans will say 'Order of Mobius' and no different to the current minor factions? Or will there be the ability for more gameplay elements to be put forward (maybe some form of control for setting missions etc?). Maybe have the ability to take over the whole system and expand into other nearby or have a new station built in system etc?

Yes, lot's of questions that I'm looking forward to finding the answers on. It will also need some thinking on how to structure wings to relate to the new powers (maybe an Inara thing?).
I was thinking about Wings and defence force type of this and (got bored so) came up with insignia for each of Inara's ranks:
I haven't bothered with the co-pilot position as, for me, that is a role that would be filled with a 'Recruit'. -edit- Just noticed that Inara has 'Wingman' and 'Senior Wingman', which are kinda covered under Pilot insignia?

More then anything a bit of fun Once the faction starts up then we could start creating wings on Inara - System Defence Force/Order of Mobius Merchants/Mobius Exploration Expedition etc Could be fun to have our own little marks for ourselves
