Was thinking that we are talking about helping the Mobius Faction while playing in the Mobius private group and that has some significance. The sum of two Mobius bands is a Klein. Not sure if anyone has an idea for a cool name using Klein in the title, but that could be a good idea.

Back in the mists of time when history was beginning to sort itself out (last January) there was a humble little outpost called Mobius Platform. An independent democratic faction was seeking to free itself from Empire control. (It was believed, at the time, that all space stations with the name 'Mobius' had to be under Empire control.)
'Help Save Mobius Platform' was the call to action, and indeed, two groups took up the cry, used it as their inspiration and rushed to the defence of Mobius Platform.
One group for the Empire, the other for the Independents.
And with a Delphic flourish (and the help of a nasty bug in the BGS) Mobius Platform was saved.
Or was it?

it would be interesting if other player factions that were allied to our group were to use the other Mobius stations as their home.
we could then all join the dots and spread across known space.

thanks for all your support commanders, after reading everything thiss is what I will be submitting to frontier.

I removed the line "Any member found in violation of these rules is immediately expelled and handed over to the Pilot's Federation for appropriate bounty punishment." for the simple reason that this policy cant be upheld against players playing in the all group.

Description: The Order of Mobius strictly uphold the basic tenet of zero tolerance of aggressive acts to their members.
Like the Pilot's Federation, The Order of Mobius is strictly neutral when it comes to galactic politics,
it's pilots can often be found helping out systems in need, and fighting as mercenaries regardless of the alliance of the system.
Despite these seemingly altruistic acts, The Order of Mobius' main and driving loyalty is to its own members,
the Order's members are sworn to support and protect their own at all times.

How about non-faction independent player groups that hold a Mobius Station, for example Mobius Station in Hernkopa ... my home.

if you can get a group together and register with frontier then be my guest.
though frontier may say that our group already has a PF and may not allow it, so if you was to put a group together it would need to be under your commander name.

I still have issue with the description, mostly as a seperation between our meta forum\in game group, and an RP in game faction that this will be.
Mainly I have a problem with this sentence.
The Order of Mobius strictly uphold the basic tenet of zero tolerance of aggressive acts to their members.

I just don't think this has any place in the role play setting, and unless we get real in game mechanics to back it up it's simply hot air.
Our group has a zero tolerance policy on pvp, but in the game for a role playing faction that will be available, regardless for mode of play we simply do not have clout to enforce one, and it becomes a completely un-enforceable policy as soon as anyone logs into game outside of the mobius group.
Unless FD are willing to implement game mechanics where a pledged faction member gets immediatly expunged from our power when engaging in pvp against another member, regardless of what group he\she plays in this "zero tolerance policy" is utterly futile.

yeah on the whole it cant be upheld while players are in the all group, I did remove a line about that.
but on the other hand it can be read that if a player attacks a member of the order then expect the repercussions of doing so.
