downloading ED again. i just bought it again on Steam so i can run two commanders, so in another couple of hours it will be back to LHS 3447 and the trusty Startwinder. as soon as it happens i'll join Mobius again

the $Au to $US convertors seem to be a bit off today; they calculated that my purchase would leave me about $4 spare in my paypal account. in fact it left only 24c - talk about cutting it fine.

Nice. It's almost like starting over. Want to have some fun since the Sidewinder you start with is free, play for the first 50K credits in open in that area

I have enough for a Viper but it seems like a sideways move since there is no more cargo on the viper. I may have to hold out for a Cobra even though it will take a doubling of my funds

yeah, a lot of the fun was surviving the uphill struggle rather than after you reach the top. the new Horizons update is tied to my older account though, so when that hits i will have lots of ships and millions of credits available for whatever that requires

---> after about 4 hours my new commander is worth over 500k and has a Cobra, albeit a rather basic one. i'm sure it took me about a week to reach this point the first time around. i've had no combat or exploration yet, just smuggling other people's dirty goods

-----> i've reached Dealer rank already after only 6 hours or so of game time. that took weeks with my original save, due to the fact that smuggling didn't count as trading whereas it now does. my combat and exploration are still 0% Harmless/Aimless. i need to go far away and shoot someone.

I have been doing not so nice things on the mission boards. No assassination missions, but contraband.
