Well, I didn't risk it, as I've not been able to get my lasers to fire. But I read that you are given clues where to find him after you accept the mission. No idea if that's correct.

You need to watch some of these targets. They are generally very heavily armed Anacondas. I happened across one once and practically as soon as I exited supercruise I had a string of missiles heading straight for me . High pay on some of these missions but high risk at the same time.

2 fixed Rail guns (primary) - Class D
2 gimballed Multicannons (secondary) - Class D
1 Point Defence Turret
Heat sink Launcher
Shield Bank

CE Bootis offer most of these upgrades, don't know how much it will cost
