First encounter with mobius cmdrs.

Hello,

Just wanted to say that last night I had the surprise of two commanders jumping into an archon resisted center picket while I was in there fighting in a python. I saw them show up, and wasn't too sure what was gonna happen. Then they sent me a wing invite, and seemed like cool dudes and we spent some time wrecking the place. I just wanted to come on here and point out that my first experience with actual cmdrs on mobius was a positive one. The only regret I have is that I didn't have time to play with this guy's very long because I had to sleep so I can work in the morning. Arghhh!

I can also recommend hopping on the teamspeak page/ts , you will usualy find a lighthearted bunch there, happy to do things.

Granted a microphone would be very very very recommended but not strictly a must, even a very cheap one would do.

Yeah, I do have a mic; was actually talking to those guys via in game comms. I should probably give the TeamSpeak thing a try, haven't used it ever actually. I am not that familiar with it. I'll have to check it out on my days off to see how it is. Thanks for the recommendation.

its fantastic that our group has become a size that meeting other commanders is a norm, meeting other commanders as your first experience within the group just shows that we are doing something right, just a shame that the all group isn't always like this.

It changes the game so much, I have been taking part in the Bast CG and have had a chat with a couple of CMDRs while waiting for a respawn of rares. It was great mostly staying in character. One I was even able to help out giving information about making more profit It was great experience.

I've yet to meet other CMDRs in game, though I do sometimes see the green friend icon in systems close by.

Been playing since Merc edition. Been in only Mobius for agood while. Still a bit of a plodder right enough.

Today was 1st experience of grouping up in a wing with some good ( and patient!) pilots at the CG.

A joy. And a new gaming experience (voice comms!)for me after 30 odd years.

Thanks to them and of course Mobius and crew for their work on making and keeping this PVE group possible.

I finally met a CMDR in space yesterday... but I think they contacted me from supercruise as I was just dropping down to a station, so I didn't really get to say hello back. Nothing but FSD wakes and a station on my scanner when I checked.

Waiting for the next encounter, but I felt a bit like the Christmas M&Ms commercial with the anthropomorphic candy and Santa Claus looking at each other saying "He does exist!"/"They do exist!"
