ATTENTIONI have just been destroyed by an invisible enemy.
location:Vaka. Hi RES
After destroying a Cobra, I attacked another one that behaved like a wingman but was not displyed in wing.
I realized that I was under attack by another craft as well, after setting my ship behind the Cobra again. But teh radar was clean -- only the enemy in front was displayed, and him as not shooting. So no turrets.
Soon after, my ship was destroyed by what seemed beam fire. From teh impact, I would think it may be at least a Python. D shields, 2x A Shield boosters, Hull Reinforcement Units, in a Vulture ...

Just saying my connection has been a little "hinky" today..

So if the servers are going ka-plooie again, it could be a bit dangerous out there

I have had that a few times.......

Attacking a target and out of nowhere I have been rammed/Attacked by something.....

Don't know by what as it did not show white on scanner.......

Lucky enough my shields held on all occasions.....

It seems that NPC's have learned to use silent running, recently. But apparently there's also a network bug that make a ship invisible to some people but not to others, particularly in wings.

Must be that bug. With silent running, the NPCs would be visible while shooting, wouldn't they? And with THAT barrage anyone would have become shiny like a sun.
Well, I hope the support restores the losses. Or can explain how such a thing can happen withought Thargoids bugs. Just for the feeling.
