I just smashed my ship to bits ... full cargo load. Not enough for Insurance - school boy error I know ... but a risk I though worth taking.

After resigning to the fact Id be going back to a Sidey, I was greeted with this !!



10% of profit gained goes to paying off the loan.

So that's how the insurance loan works. Ive been wondering about this as I saw from the patch notes they had added it

Basically, the loan covers the total cost of replacing your ship, with a full equiptment loadout. Plus 1000 cash. Cobra was 22 000.
Max loan available is 200 000 cr .
Isw automatically deducted when you make a profit.

As long as the creditor is not the baby eating Bishop, of Bath and Wells ... then, maybe this time next year, I should be in the clear !! Wooo Hoo !

Not bad, if so. At least you get the choice. I've been wondering how the insurance works. Do I have to choose the option, or is it offered at some stage?

It often gets mentioned in tutes and guides but the process is never actually explained.
