A few more details about Powerplay.

Very interesting indeed, seems well thought out also - ways for Traders, PvP and PvE to influence things from what I read into it. Of course it will probably need the creation of 20 new sub forums lol.

Might also need some discussion on changes to Mobius Group Policy to allow for Intra-Power PvP - as some in Mobius may well want to take part in PvP as related to the various Powers.

I think Powerplay is a bit of a double edged sword for this group. It looks like it's giving you carte blanche to attack people from different factions without impunity or fear of punishment. So what does this mean for the group? To me it looks like powerplay will create on massive warzone in the inhabited areas of the Galaxy. Should we allow PvP against people from other factions as well as in warzones? For me, no we shouldn't. Keep PvP to official warzones only.

I get the feeling that warzones as we know them may well be changing in Powerplay, as for me if I go into a CZ at the moment I go into SOLO that way I avoid the risk of accidental fragging of another group member. I've no interest in PvP - I initially backed ED on the the promise of the offline mode.

All I meant was that we need solid rules in place ready for Powerplay. That way there will be no misunderstandings and we can carry on with fighting the enviroment

I agree with you. I just think we are unlikely to be able to see the impact of Powerplay until we get our hands on it in Beta. I didn't see any mention of timescales in the newsletter.....

Attacking other players is an act of aggression and should only be tolerated in open, not in private group. I think of Möbius more as a group of friends who fight together against other (NPC) enemies. In real wars sometimes two different hostile clans fight together to get a third one ...

What would be nice is to have all Mobius aligned to one 'Power'. I don't see that happening though given some people like the Federation

I think the point from Colin the Grey is a good one - we will see a lot more subgroups.

Hi,

Peacefull PVE-player like me, this Powerplay hussle freatens me a bit. I will never accept that "Shooting without wanted-status" sh**t with any conditions. In war zones I use Solo-mode too.

Maybe we can find some independent minor faction far away from core/old systems that we all can support.

But Let's see, what happens.

It would be cool if we focused on own Power as a group, but I know that would be difficult.

As long as it's an Imperial group of course
