Thanks for the long reply (I do like reading ) that is basically what I have been doing, just wanted to make sure I wasn't messing it up. Tis the main reason I had to leave fed space,they really don't like me any more. I shall continue with the food missions and what not until 1.3 drops. I agree with you that they need to work on the missions as it is a bit lacklustre at moment, game is still relatively new though so I am willing to give them time to get it together. I have been putting a lot of hours into pand, some would say too much

Well, I have to say, I feel sorry for the Lugh folk, I did partake in that experiment for a short time, but chose to come to Pand, as I thought that it was a more "interesting" experiment (for me) as it was a fringe system - not that I think Lugh is unworthy at all, it's a great experiment, but seems to have be shut down by the devs with that war. I'm not sure if they did that on purpose to prevent them finding too many more issues with the background sim, or they just thought it was the right thing to do, but either way, it was a bit too harsh for where they currently were.

But I think Lugh should have been a "Civil War" first, for system ownership, with a full blown war after Crimson State took over (if they did - which would have been far more likely).

That capitol ship has turned it into a farm fest for credits, which means all their hard work has been for naught. People who are playing the game with no knowledge of the forum, and the effort that has gone into Lugh will also be screwing it over.

Luckily, we're not int hat situation, we're the dominant power, and no Federation or Imperial issues to deal with. I just hope that wherever we expand into is not a Federation system, as that will effectively screw us, too...

I think it's best to promote "good" relations with all 3 of the large factions, behaving like an outer system "Switzerland", so to speak.

I need to see what the Mikunn guys are doing, as I am kind of worried about where they may end up in all this.

I'm splitting my time between the Lugh war an dPand at the moment. The earning potential in Lugh is huge I'm on track to earn.. a heck of a lot of credits at the current rate. I've made about 30m already (and that's without exploiting - I can't imagine what the AFK cap ship campers made...).

I still on track for another 16m in com goal payouts, too...

Anyway, I'm pretty much shooting for a rares run a day to Pand, a bit of local trading, and then back to Lugh. I'll probably end up doing my exploration trip a little later in the week, the lure of credits is a big one - and I'll be happy ot not have to worry about cash for a while.

We're at 97.5% when I checked this morning, so we are still slowly moving up...

Well it was a long term group effort , an event probably not, just seems weve been buired even deeper on this forum, which means less eye balls i was hoping elitepve would provide additional supporters, i will continue to post here, due to real life im down to 1-2 hours a day so i continue to work away, ive flown a few wings with a few random peeps that dropped by pand.
So local faction seems the best place, but perhaps the moderators here might want to put factions at a level 1 on the forums for more eyeballs instead of 3 layers deep where a potential multiplayer platform isnt seen by the wide array of visitors.
I think ill put a updated post here every 3-4 days now and continue to monitor things, you guys can also talk to me on reddit where im promoting the main offical pand group to suitable posts like where do i turn in my explo data, or im looking for multiplayer or long term projects etc.
Seems today weve gone up to 97.7% which is a small gain , with the trading on influence changes, trading has less impact on influence now, im not sure if other ie combat turnins on bounties, exploration data and missions have been turned up, or if with the balancing the rate of progress is now even slower. So its all public ive sent wolf a little message requesting that the recent changes to how the groups are listed here and the hidden nature as it stands now of factions as far as their depth on the forums here and how active the various major 3 alliance groups are and then trailing that the indepdant/local groups. My reason for this is the developers are pushing the pve aspect of elite into a split between commuity goals/news and small groups of players taking a longer term view to create their own local stories/local content/RP with indepdant factions. And my feeling is that the elite pve website might do well to put in easy reach of new members direct links on the main forums group listing to all things groupie related, this thread is one of the bigger ones ( as well as the imperial gropus here and lugh seems to be popping up) so giving them prominance will drive usability of the website/forum as a whole and keep new members returning ( and it continues to give our group some display - we would still be 3 deep which is fine rather than 5 deep as it is now, so those members here who are around for a while will find it - as weve seen with lugh though to much prominance attracts developer events and im not sure we want a major faction coming in and flattening the project) so a balance is good

Ollo - we were independent to begin with, and not really much chance of a big faction coming in and stomping on us unless we expand to a Fed system, in which case, that could be interesting. But we'll worry about that when we get to it. I'd like to see us expand into a new, empty system first, or even just get a full sized station built in Pand...

The exploration data is nice ive just plopped another 400,000 credits worth into pand today.

You are right we are currently under local factions * which we are * it might be better requesting wolf move the group to indepdant (multi system indepdant would be my interpretation) once we can expand.

The most likley expansion target would be orokundra which is one anarchy and 2 corporate the oro rats there have majority ownership and are pirate faction. Economic boom is still going i understand each day it continues equals more growth in wealth and development indexes so that is good news. Im just logging in again today at the moment - i.m just trying to figure out how we can achieve the expansion status

Well lets keep at it hopefully frontier sooner or later get things developing in terms of things and content in that area.
