Good luck with the "steel seagulls" CMDR it looks like it's taking off, but in the meantime you better get your squad over to Lugh your capital ships are taking a hammering by superior Imperial and Alliance pilots.

I will have nothing whatsoever to do with slavery. In fact i would like it if the group was operating on an anti-slavery tip amongst its other activities. Federation has principles, right?!

Clarity and brevity on comms is pretty essential I would say, so I am fully behind that sort of initiative. I think it makes it all the more fun too.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be making our own website via Weebly. I realize that it may not be all that wonderful, but it'll give us a place to put screenshots, access the players guides, and post cool videos if anyone wants to. Stuff like that. Anyway, All the roster information and other things that I've made so far will be on there as well. I'll edit the original post with the website link as soon as the page is ready. The website is up! GO EASY ON ME... It's my first time... Yes, there will be more added as time goes on. Many of the links are just for show right now. I'm considering upgrading my weebly membership for a year if this thing keeps going the way that it is. I will definitely be sitting down to write some of the guides I mentioned before. I want to reiterate that we are still a part of the Mobius group... This is simply a detachment of like-minded players who want a little more specification is all. Let's stick to these forums for now, but eventually I would like to see anything that would normally be posted here be posted up on the website's forums. This is my first attempt at making a website, but it turned out pretty cool. Also, we have a housekeeping decisions to make. As always, I need your great ideas and thoughts Since this thing is getting off the ground now, I want us to emerge from our experimental state, and into something more permanent.

1.) Squadron Color Choices: Blue/Black/Silver, OR, Green/Gold/Black, OR, Orange/Black/Silver. This depends on the next part...

2.) Possible Mascot Change: Yes, I have considered that the eagle is a bit overused. This doesn't mean we can't keep or that we don't love it. I came up with it because there was an abundance of images on Google to use for the logo. However, I was thinking of making a switch in this department. Honestly, I think something like the "Silver Sabers" would be badass simply for this picture...

Yes, it is the Thunder Cats logo. However, we're not trying to make money with this, and I can't see that Frontier would have a problem with us using it should the ability for custom decals arise. So, I realize that it's weird that I'm interesting in changing mascots. The eagle is just not hitting me like it was. However, this logo kind of strikes me a certain way. Obviously, our colors would be silver with a hint of blue for the federation (although I'm curious as to why our beloved fed systems now show as "red...").

Anyway. I've gotta run for now. Check out the site, go easy on me, think about a new mascot (I'm very open to suggestions), and keep on flyin'! Turbo out.

yeah, the reduced costs timed well with my decision to sell T6 and Cobra and try out the Asp this week
the 750k rebuy is gonna sting when it hits sooner or later :-/ but i have it covered.
I was saving up for a T7 but it was boring the pants off me so i took a change of tack.
so far i'm loving it - flys well, six hardpoints is amazing and they are well placed too.
any interdiction is not a crisis now, but an opportunity for some extra credits
feels more like the old Elite to me playing this way.

I have signed up to the new website, looks very nice. Tried to post a new topic on the forum but nothing happened. Perhaps not implemented yet?
I don't have teamspeak installed yet, do you use that completely in place of the in game comms, or is it just for organising outside the game?
